He was still lying on the bed, face buried in the pillows as the other commented, groaning as he moved to roll over, nose scrunching as he sat up. “I don’t need to exert any effort to sound cute, how dare you.” He huffed, crossing his arms as he leered at him then realising he didn’t have the energy to either argue or keep up the façade, falling back onto the bed once more, arms outstretched as he rolled from side to side.

“I just don’t want any more work and a part of me wants the Mayor to go suck it but it’s not like he’s doing a terrible job and I’m tired but I have so many things to do but I wanted this and now I can’t help but do everything and I’m just tired and–” he sighed, closing his eyes as he stopped rolling, curling up into a ball instead. “It’s fine at least I’m cute.”

“Mm, no, you’re right. But if I keep telling you that you’re cute, it won’t make you blush nearly as much. Get me?” He chuckled and reached out to stroke his curved back from where he lay on his side. It was their weekend again, officially this time, but the week had been so long it seemed like two weeks had passed anyway.
