In my city, a man was beaten up in full daylight, in front of family, in a crowded area, by several people, because he was wearing an antifa t-shirt. His face is fractured and he'll need surgery. Anyway the local leftist parties and about a dozen leftist activist groups have organised an antifa picnic and swim where it happened to reclaim the public space from the neonazis.

Somewhat unrelated but there was also a conference named "what future for white Europe?" organised by (obviously) an extreme right wing group in a small village around here. As soon as the conference was announced (basically 24h before it was supposed to take place), leftist groups alerted the village's officials and put out a call for antifa activists to meet up there, and the village's officials immediately cancelled the reservation for the community center from the right wing assholes. No racist conference in the village.

I'm just writing about these to remind myself and others that not everything is bad and not everyone is either right wing or silent.
