I hate starry night so much holy shit worst minigame ever it takes 10 years for it to pick up the pace and it sucks even then

I used to scalp npc items on the tradesmarket to afford overpriced quest items. It was like a scalper scalping scalpers undercutting the unscalped to make potatoes situation. I seldom do this now that npc shops are spinnable from anywhere and prices are deflating. It is a relief but I wonder how this affects the dappervolk economy.

I grounded daily for months to get 300 base stats. It’ll be grossly unfair if staff made stat gains easier without compensating those who already sacrificed their time with the current system.

I hate that people have “pet creator contests” because it feels like handing your ideas to Anji or whoever dev is on a silver platter for free, like she can just scroll these and steal inspiration

my therapist adviced me to step away from dappervolk because it became an outlet for my displaced anger. i admit the redaction here (tq mods) prevented me from going full blast causing unecessary harm. i apologize for labeling a custom owner exclusionist. to anon who responded, i’m def not entitled. only needed to vent. i’m a bruised apple lmao. not hatin folks either. i agree with suggestions thread. custom distribution is flawed. don’t know if dv is redeemable. Oh man, I wish all foods and hatcheables were converted into totems already. I alched my remainder knowlegdable totems for a raven book and realized it is not an equipable totem. Should have kept the books :c

anyone else finding themselves glued to the ad theatre screen? i m guilty of rewinding some clips to rewatch the good scenes over and over again. it’s way more entertaining than the tedious gameplay grind when i think of it

My friend created an avatar site as a project. Hundreds of players in the first year, then barely two digits a day. I proposed user submitted clothing but was told it’s akin to “handing customers their paintbrush” and how a niche avatar site “loses their value” when their main selling point (avatar) becomes diluted with inconsistency. They are content with the loyalists who like their art style. It gives my friend purpose to keep their site going. Can't speak for dv obv.

If you break someone’s custom event rules then you deserve to be disqualified AND your prize revoked. Simple as that. Posting the answers against the custom owner’s wishes is extremely disrespectful.

The front page looks so crowded with those boxes. Like theyre forced onto the layout or smth. “NEW” is so baity when there arent even new stuff. Those recycled icons annoys me IDKW. What happened to their pixel artist

customs are really the only new content right now, if you have a custom shut up because you haven’t been deprived of fresh content anddddd you get control

I doubt Dappervolk will improve drastically even with less customs in the queue. Staff has already stated that reducing art output doesn’t affect any workflow priorities because their artist can’t code etc.
