On a (hi)atus

I mean she wasn’t allowed to walk for most of her life but she did that!! 

Is demonizing them any better? I’m not excusing a murderers behavior and I do not mean to disrespect the victims, but you have got to realize that people that kill other people, are human too. They are your neighbors, your friends, your family. You think that you don’t know who a murderer is until after the fact, when really, everyone is capable of murder. Let’s say you’re a really funny, interesting person that lived a very fulfilling life but then you killed a guy. Am I supposed to pretend you’re not hilarious suddenly? Should I avoid you? For what? I’ll hate what you did, I’ll look at you different sure but resenting you helps nobody. You’ll only become a worse person with my resentment, the victims will never move on, and I would have lost a friend.
