summary: your classmate was teasing you about valentine's day, but when he found out you don't have any plans, his sole focus became to not leave you alone the whole day... for reasons he himself doesn't know.
genre: fluff
warnings: keonho is stupid when it comes to girls, flirting (which even keonho didn't know he was doing), a bit of skinship
a/n: bear with me for this one, I actually don't know tf i was doing while writing this. most of this is just me rambling. if you have any thoughts, comments are appreciated ^_^
“And so, class… that is how a bill becomes a law.” your teacher finally finished the chapter 5 minutes after the bell rang.
You closed your book with a soft groan escaping from your mouth.
almost everyone in your class quickly got up and started going their own ways, most of them to their significant other.
Significant was the perfect word for this because it showed in everything they did that they had someone.
assholes, keonho thought of them as he looked in their direction.
Someone next to you dropped their book as they picked up their bag. “Shit.” he muttered. You turned to look at the source and it was none other than Ahn Keonho.
Ugh.
The worst day of your life was when your homeroom teacher announced the seating arrangement because that would mean you’d have to sit next to Keonho for the entire semester.
As you slung the bag over your shoulder, Keonho managed to fit all of his stuff into his backpack.
You were heading towards the door when you heard the same voice calling out to you.
“Hey, yn. wait up.” said keonho, catching up to you, his bag flying behind him as he barely had it on his shoulder.
you turned to look at him, an eyebrow raised. “what do you want?”
he smirked at your look, hands in the air in mock surrender. “no need to be so… you.” he said, his steps matching yours.
“but of course, you'll probably have plans and don't have time for the annoying guy in class, right?” he asked with an innocent face, teasing you.
You rolled your eyes at his comment and picked your pace up, wanting to get out of the area as fast as you could.
you couldn't wait to go home and pass out on your messy af bed.
“fyi, I don't have plans. Not that it's any of your business.” you replied, almost wanting to puke at the sight of the couple walking a few feet in front of you.
no pda at school was definitely a rule.
but of course, no one was actually gonna follow that, were they?
keonho looked visibly shocked. “No date? you. no date.” he had his eyebrows raised and his hands were on his head, and while he definitely looked goofy, he would deny it anyway.
“Yup. Surprise” you deadpan as you walked out the school gate, a few steps ahead of him.
He immediately caught up to you, still walking with you even though his house is in the opposite direction. “that's… surprising. like, actually.”
“you don't have plans either, do you?” you asked teasingly.
he scoffed, putting a hand on his heart in mock offense. “bold of you to assume I don't have plans! but yeah, I don't.”
you chuckled lightly, an unreasonable smile creeping itself onto your face.
he smiled along with you, though it soon faded at a thought.
keonho suddenly realized that he was getting a bit too comfortable with you. his mind had a random idea… which was probably not a good one.
He cleared his throat. maybe a bit too loudly.
you looked over, pausing your walk. “you good?”
“yeah, I'm fine. so, you headed home?” he asked.
you nodded, continuing your walk. he nodded in reply as well, falling, once again, into step next to you.
the two of you walked in a comfortable silence for the next couple minutes, and when you saw your house getting closer, he turned to ask you something.
“So, um, you just like maybe… wanna hang out?” he asked.
You froze at his suggestion, confused as to where this was coming from.
“I mean, neither of us have plans. it's better than spending time alone. I guess.” he said quickly, not wanting to blow you off.
you tilted your head, the action being extremely cute to Keonho, and a smile made its way onto your face. “sure. sounds fine.” you replied, shrugging as keonho's face turned into one that resembled a shocked mime.
“we're already near my place, so let's just hang out there, I guess.” you added, already crossing the road to get to your house.
keonho followed close behind as the two of you went inside.
as you made your way upstairs to your room, keonho was still kinda not believing he was actually managing to stay next to you for so long and not pass out.
when the door to your room opened, he immediately took in his surroundings. there was a tiny table next to your bed which had a tiny shelf with a couple books on it and a blue shaded lamp.
Your room was pretty neat. The study table organized in a way you could find everything but not so much that it looked like it was never used.
you sat down on your bed, putting your bag down next to it on the floor. He followed suit, sitting down next to you.
“so, what now?” he asked. you shrugged. “movie?” you pointed to the tv. he shook his head. “how about… a game? you got any board games or something?” he suggested instead.
You nodded, getting up. “yeah, I have uno, monopoly, you name it.” you replied.
he pretended to think for a minute before suggesting uno.
you took the uno cards out and started shuffling before keonho stopped you. “wait, gimme.” he said, tilting his head towards the cards.
you obeyed, handing him the cards, wondering what goofy shit he's gonna pull next.
but he started shuffling the cards quite professionally. you were kinda impressed until the cards slipped from his hands, causing them to fall over onto the bed.
You snorted at his face reddening like a tomato, embarrassment coating his eyes.
“that was good… until, well, it wasn't.” you said between laughs as he hid his face in a pillow.
“oh shut up” he said, finally emerging, sitting up.
you hmmed, not agreeing, just acknowledging him.
he dealt the cards, seven each. you looked at your cards. not bad, you thought. every round you got similar cards, and every round you thought you could win.
but boy, were you wrong.
after 5 rounds, Keonho had beaten you 4-1.
his smirk never once left his face.
“ah, this is boring” you said. keonho laughed at that. “yeah, cause you keep losing.” he said.
you give him a light push to which – obviously – he overreacted.
he fell on top of your pillows as if he had been punched by an angry boxer.
He made a sound somewhere between a whine and a cry that sounded like a baby deer dying.
“drama queen” you muttered under your breath.
he gasped dramatically. “Me?!” he looked at you.
You rolled your eyes at him. “Yes, you. Now, get up and stop acting all hurt. you suck at acting.”
Instead of getting up, he pulled you down with him. you landed right next to him, not even an inch of space left between the two of you.
“keonho!” you shouted at him, but obviously he only laughed at you.
“what? can't handle a bit of teasing?” he said, sitting up with you basically pressed next to him.
you tried to push him away, playfully, of course but all your tries failed… miserably.
he smirked, loosening his grip around you, which gave you enough space to move a few inches away.
After a few minutes when you both finally settled down again, this time just lying around, having nothing to do.
"Don't you have friends to hang out with? what about him, uh- the one you're always with? Seonghyeon?” you asked suddenly, catching Keonho by surprise.
he exhaled from his mouth softly. “He had plans. Like everyone elsee.” he whined.
you laughed unamusedly, knowing the feeling because your best friend had a valentine too.
he suddenly got up, grabbing his bag and throwing it over his shoulders. “Come on. I have an idea.” he said, opening the door, looking at you expectedly.
“Does it include going outside?” you groaned, not wanting to go out now.
“it'll be worth it, I promise.” he says, tilting his head towards the door. “It's dark out, what're we gonna doooo?” you asked as you got up from the bed and put on a jacket.
“It doesn't have to be bright out to go outside, you know?” he responded, putting an arm around your shoulders.
when you exited the house, the cold air made your hair fly behind, your ears turning red.
you two continued to walk down the road, your magnified shadows walking along under the street lights.
It was only around six in the evening, but the sun sets early during the winters.
“See, not so bad.” he said before sprinting ahead, looking back with a grin. “Wanna race?” he called out.
you threw your head back slightly and groaned, but agreed anyway, running up to him only for him to run away even faster than before. You tried catching up but he was taller and faster. When he finally stopped, you caught up to him with a pout forming on your lips.
“That is not fair.” you mumbled.
As you continued walking to nowhere, you talked about how bad your friends are for leaving you guys on your own. And then also how much you liked them for being your friends because otherwise, you'd have no one to talk to.
Then he asked if you knew how to play basketball.
“I know a bit. But I don't really play” you replied.
and so, you found yourself in the basketball court near the playground in your neighborhood.
“Let's see what you got, yn.” he said, taking off his hoodie.
You nodded lazily, but still played with him. Because as much as it pained you to admit it, you were actually having fun spending time with him today.
After a couple rounds of a close basketball match between you two, you beat him 5-4. He could have beaten you, but he's very clumsy with his hands.
You laughed as he threw the ball away in anger, obviously embarrassed.
you checked the time on your phone, shit, your mom would get made if you didn't make it back home by seven.
“Hey, Keonho. um- I need to like go home now, so…” you started, catching his attention.
His smile faded slightly, but he tried to not look too disappointed.
“oh, ok. I'll drop you off.” He said, putting the discarded hoodie back on.
You started walking back home, this time walking closely in a comforting silence as the stars began to twinkle above you.
Suddenly, keonho stopped.
you stopped a few steps ahead and looked back at him. “what's up?” you asked.
He pulled his phone out. “I just realized I don't have your number. And I would very much like to have it.” he said, holding the phone out to you.
You tilted your head, a soft smile growing on your face. “riiiight. of course.” you took his phone and typed in you number, saving it as something else.
When he looked at it, he snorted. “‘accidental valentine’, seriously?”
you shrugged. “Is it wrong, though?”
He smiled, shoving his phone back in his pocket and instead taking your hand in his.
The two of you continued walking back.
When you reached the driveway to your house,
you stopped and Keonho reached to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear.
A light blush crept its way up your neck and to your cheeks.
“See ya at school, accidental valentine.” he said. You thought he was gonna leave, but he leaned down, putting a soft kiss on your lips before pulling away and biting his lip to hide his smile.
Your eyes widened as you processed what just happened.
“what… Ahn Keonho, you're so…” you couldn't find an appropriate word to describe him. annoying, insufferable… cute. NO.
“so what?” he mocked, licking his bottom lip, which you found way more attractive than it should've been.
“ugh. just go already.” you replied, turning to go inside, but he called after you one last time, “best valentines day ever, fyi.”
you turned to look at him but he already turned the corner and disappeared.
That night, you found yourself thinking about him way too much.
Every time you remembered the feel of his lips on yours, you blushed red like a tomato.
The next day, he brought you some chocolates saying that his accidental valentine deserves something.
summary: when your roommate sees that you're watching rom-coms in the living room alone on valentines day, he decides to plan a last minute surprise.
genre: fluff

warnings: skinship, might be A TINY BIT cheesy
a/n: ok, i don't know how this was written tbh. even after proofreading, this seems way too cheesy and definitely not my best work. just basically a little drabble
@haeonniie - little miss obsessed with brown haired taesan
You didn't have many plans for Valentine's day. No boyfriend. Your only two friends both have boyfriends, likely having the time of their lives as we speak.
You assumed that your roommate, Taesan, probably had plans too.
He's kinda hot, he's got the whole nonchalant shit going on. There's no way he didn't have a date. Right?
Well, you were proven wrong when you saw him walking out of his room around 5 pm, still in his pajamas, light brown hair ruffled.
You stood up, a bit embarrassed at the fact that you were gonna watch rom-coms alone in your apartment all night on valentines.
He froze in the hallway at the sight of you on the couch. “No plans?” he asked, continuing down the hall to the kitchen.
You shook your head. “Nope.” you paused before adding, “uh- what about you?”
Taesan took a water bottle out of the fridge and shrugged. “If I did, I'd probably be getting ready by now, wouldn't I?”
He started walking back towards his room, shooting you one last look before disappearing into his dark room.
You sighed as you flopped onto the couch, a light blush creeping its way onto your cheeks.
While you flicked through the options of movies you had, taesan was in his room, mentally beating himself up for making the most awkward small talk that has ever occurred between two roommates.
Because who the fuck just straight up asks a girl oh, you don't have plans on Valentine's Day, do you?
You finally decided that first you would watch Notting Hill. Although a bit depressed, you tried your best to focus on the movie. Halfway through the movie, you were so into the movie that you didn't notice Taesan sneak past from behind the couch out the door and onto the roof.
What was he doing on the roof?
He pulled out the old foldable table and two chairs out the storage room on the top floor and took them up to the roof.
After placing them in an acceptable position, he hit the road.
When the movie was ending, you got up to get another drink from the fridge, you noticed the emptiness in the apartment.
You kept the drink on the couch and made your way to taesan's room. You slowly opened his door, finding nothing but a half-made bed and a few clothes on his chair.
You scoffed under your breath.
Maybe he had plans and he just didn't tell me because he didn't wanna make me feel bad, you thought.
even sadder than before, you returned to the living room, turning on a second movie.
When you thought Taesan was having fun with some other girl, he was actually in the grocery store a block away from your apartment, buying chocolate and shit he didn't even know what to do with.
Some candles. Pink ones? No, wait… maybe red ones are better?
Chocolates. Heart ones. White chocolate. Dark chocolate. He got one of each because he had no idea what chocolate you liked. Or if you even liked chocolate at all.
He was not good at this.
He got some drinks. Your favorite pepsi. His favorite coke.
Food, he remembered.
Meanwhile, you were nearing the end of the second movie, What's your number?
Ally was going through every wedding in Boston to find Colin. She went from car to bike to foot to find him and tell that she fucking loved him.
How romantic is that?
I could never, you thought.
Light tears spilled out of your eyes at the scene in front of you. But it doesn't matter ‘cause they end up getting a happily ever after anyways.
Lucky sons of bitches.
You checked the time on your phone. It was 9 o'clock already. You felt a pang of sadness at the situation. But it was also kinda amusing.
You let out a soft laugh.
How pathetic was this?
Taesan was heading back up to the roof, his hands filled with bags.
He lost track of time in the grocery store, and also a little detour he made to your favorite bakery.
He put a red cloth that he just bought on top of the table.
He pulled the candles out and tried to set them up so they'd look good, oblivious to the fact that just a few floors down, you were hugging a pillow with tears streaming down your face partially because you thought he was out on a date.
Now was the real problem. How was he supposed to cook the goddamn food without going into the apartment?
He thought of asking a neighbor, but how weird would that be? plus, his mild social anxiety could never.
He set up the rest of the stuff, some old lights he found in the storage room.
He took the food downstairs, making as little noise as he possibly could.
You had gotten up and headed to the bathroom for the time being, so when he creaked open the door, he saw an opportunity.
The kitchen was right next to the entrance so he quickly put the frozen pizza he had gotten in the oven, and melted some chocolate on the stove.
When he heard the sound of the toilet flushing, he bucked and grabbed the chocolate bowl and ran out, completely forgetting the pizza in the oven.
He got to the roof top and grabbed the strawberries. He took out a disposable plate and covered the strawberries with chocolate.
Something — one of the few things, actually — that he remembered for sure that you liked.
When he remembered the pizza, it was too late. You heard the ding of the oven and went over to check it out. As soon as you opened the oven, Taesan came in, breathless.
“Shit.” he muttered under his breath.
You looked at him with a confused expression. He was wearing a black leather jacket with black jeans. And he looked ridiculously good. “What's… this?” you asked.
He hesitated. “uh…” he started, trying to come up with an excuse, but failing.
“uh...what?” you probed further.
“um, it was supposed to be a surprise.” he said, stepping closer and taking the pizza out of the oven.
“A surprise? For who?” you probed further.
He sighed softly.
“Come on.” He said, beckoning you to follow him.
He walked out the door and you followed suit, not saying a single word on the way to the roof.
When he opened the door, you froze on the spot.
He rubbed the back on his neck, a bit nervous maybe? No way. Han Taesan, nervous?
He put the pizza box on the table where you saw the plate of chocolate covered strawberries and some pastries he must have ordered from your favorite bakery.
You looked at the pastries and they looked like the best thing you've ever seen. or maybe you just hadn't eaten anything except popcorn in the past couple hours.
“What's all this?” you stepped forward, the wind hitting you smack in the face and blowing out one of the candles.
He shrugged. “I dunno. I guess I wanted to do something. I mean, you don't deserve to be watching tv on Valentine's. Although, this took longer than I thought.”
He offered a small smile.
“Damn, what exactly do I deserve then, Taesan? ” you teasingly asked.
“You deserve... someone who notices you. Everybody deserves someone like that, to be honest. But... especially you.”
You were shocked at his sincerity. “I didn't know you could be so sweet if you wanted to.”
He rolled his eyes and pulled you closer. “Don't get used to it.”
You smiled. “Well, this is good, because I'm starving.”
He smirked, leading you to the table. “Have at it.” He opened the box and the smell of pizza filled the air.
“is it just me or does that smell better than it should?” you question.
he laughs at your comment, putting a slice on your plate.
After the two of you had finished basically everything on the table, including all the chocolate, Taesan got up from his seat and made his way over to you.
You looked up at him in confusion, tilting your head in a way that made his heart feel things. Things that had no business being felt.
He leaned down, wiping a bit of chocolate off the side of your mouth.
His touch made a shiver go down your spine.
“You're such a messy eater, yn.”
You roll your eyes, unaware of the blush bright red on your face.
He smirked, pulling away and heading towards the edge of the roof, back turned towards you.
Your body mourned his loss and you instinctively followed him to the edge. Another gust of wind hit you in the face.
“it's cold…” you muttered.
He chuckled softly. “Yeah, that's true.”
With that, he pulled you closer into him, his warmth enveloping you. He pulled back slightly, as if he remembered something, and pulled a rose from inside his jacket.
“It got a little smushed,” he said. You took the rose from him and held onto it.
“It's fine. it doesn't matter if it's smushed or not.”
He smiled, then shivered as the wind got faster and clouds started forming above them.
“should probably get back down stairs.”
You nodded in agreement, heading over to the table to gather everything.
He blew the candles out, you folded the chairs and put them back down in the storage room.
The two of you headed downstairs, him with most of the stuff in the front as you followed behind with a few bags in your hands.
He put the empty boxes in the trash chute in the hallway and entered the apartment.
“Sorry if it was weird or anything,” he said.
You looked up at him with a teasing look. “It was better than nothing, you know? I liked it.”
Your words make him visibly relaxed and he sits down next to you on the couch. Your body feels his warmth even though your shoulders barely touch.
“so, what do you wanna do? the night is still young.” he joked, a tiny smirk still on his face.
you chuckled. “I don't know. any suggestions?” he pulled you closer into his side, your face basically resting on his shoulder.
“how bout we watch a movie – not those sappy rom-coms you were watching. Something else,” he added when he saw you opening your mouth to argue.
“Nah. too many movies today. Anything else?” you replied, a frown growing on your face. His eyes softened at your frown, immediately trying to think of something that you might like.
“Ok, got it, no movies.” Is it this hard to think of something to do? taesan thought.
“I have an idea. But you might not like it.” you said suddenly, sitting up. You had a twinkle in your eyes which taesan absolutely did not like.
He narrows his eyes. “whyy? what is it?” he asked skeptically, obviously not liking the look on your face.
“we could do skincare! I bought some new face masks and stuff.” you reply, a grin forming on your face.
he groaned, pretending to be appalled, but he didn't really care about doing skincare or not. at least you were letting him spend time with you.
“Come on, it'll be fun, I swear.” you say.
he looked at you like you had just made the joke of the year. “fun for who? me or you?”
just as you were about to reply, the door bell rang. Taesan stood up and walked over to the door while you went to your bathroom and grabbed some sheet masks and two hair bands.
when you walked back out, taesan had a bouquet of roses in his hands. “totally forgot about these.” he said, casually handing them to you.
“You ordered these for me? the roommate you barely talk to?” you asked, throwing the masks onto the coffee table and taking the bouquet into your arms.
It was pretty big.
he rocked back and forth on his feet, shoving his hands into his pockets. “you don't want it? then by all means, I'll take it. It's pretty.” he added when you raised an eyebrow at him.
you pouted, taking the roses to your room. “NOPE. these are mineeee.” you said in a sing-song voice.
Taesan chuckled as he sat down again, eyes falling to the skincare and hairbands you put on the coffee table.
as you jumped onto the sofa he asked, “do i have to do this?”
you nodded, handing him a hairband while putting one on yourself. When he picked up a face mask and read the name he frowned. “I'm sorry, a snail mask?”
you laughed. “Yeah, it gives you bright skin.”
“So does lemon juice, just saying,” he muttered, trying – and failing – to take the mask out of its packaging. “and why is this so slippery?”
you looked over to him, and his so-soft-that-it-should-be-illegal brown hair pulled back and his trying to carefully unfold the mask without getting the liquid stuff on his clothes was way too cute.
you reached over to help him, unfolding and adjusting the mask onto his face. Taesan shivered as the cold stuff touched his face.
You smiled at the action, causing taesan to scrunch up his nose in annoyance.
“Don't do that.” you said.
“Don't do that” he repeated in a mocking voice.
After you put on your sheet mask, the two of you started talking. There wasn't a specific topic, you talked about anything and everything that came into your mind.
You found out that he likes oasis and mcr, and in turn, you told him about how you like to read. and you realized that he's actually a pretty good listener.
You guys talked for over an hour, basically just getting to know each other properly.
at around two in the morning, you finally went to your respective bedrooms.
Taesan was replaying the entire night again and again in his mind, while you were staring at the roses he got you that you kept on your bedside table.
★ bonus
The next morning, when you woke up and wobbled out of your room, you were greeted by a messy, fluffy haired Taesan standing in the kitchen, making coffee.
“Morning…” you mumbled out as you took a seat at the kitchen island.
He nodded in response, pouring you a cup of coffee as a yawn escaped him.
You reached over and ruffled his hair just because it looked so… ruffable? I don't know.
he groaned and headed back to his room, his own coffee in his hand.
You laughed behind him, because you knew that after last night, you wouldn't just be roommates anymore.

You weren't unaware of the things happening in your town. People disappearing, then their bodies showing up weeks later, pale as a sheet of paper.
Blood loss.
Everyone in the town got scared. Everyone except… you. People started closing their shops up before sunset as if that would prevent what's happening. You knew it was a matter of supernatural occurrence. Stuff like this didn't just happen.
So one night, you decided to go to the altar. The cursed Blood Altar, they called it.
Every time someone mentioned it, humor filled your brain. Though you never showed it. How can people be so naïve?
Whatever, you thought as you sneaked out the back of your house, your family fast asleep. A lantern in your hand, a hood over you to keep you warm on a cold December night.
The clock had struck 12 as you were leaving, and you were sure no one would catch you, too scared to come out of their houses. The wind breezed past your face, making your nose and cheeks flush red.
When you neared the cathedral, you realized why the townsfolk never ventured to this part.
The temperature dropped. Even lower than earlier, if that was possible. Your skin got goosebumps. Your blood coiled.
You felt a presence all around you.
Not visible, not touchable, just… the vibe of it. You gripped the lantern closer, hoping the fire in it didn't die out.
Every step towards the entrance seemed stiffer than the last. Your hood blew backwards, leaving your hair being blown away by the wind.
You immediately felt the cold enter your ears, a chill running through your body. As you took the steps up to the giant door, you felt something pushing you back.
Again, you only felt it. No sign of anyone around. No shadows peeking out of the woods behind.
You pushed the door open, it made no noise. You were shocked for a bit; it opened like a door used every day and not one that had been abandoned for a few decades.
As you stepped inside, the door closed behind you. And the further you went, the more your blood turned inside your body in the weirdest way.
A shiver ran through your body.
Your brain told you not to go any further, but your heart was already leading you towards the basement.
Just as you stepped forward, a creak in the wood below you, a figure emerged from behind you.
“I wouldn't go down there if I were you.”
That simple sentence, phrased so gentle yet dangerously, had you obeying almost instantly. Your feet halted, just a foot or two away from the stairs leading to the basement. The lantern in your hand flickering slightly.
“Wh–who are you?” you breathe out.
He just strides forward, his long coat flowing behind him. You notice how his hair is perfectly set up, skin paler than a normal human.
He stands in front of you, inches away, his breath on your skin as he speaks. “Huh, there's something different.”
You tilt your head. “What do you mean?”
He shakes his head nonchalantly. “Nothing,” he says. “I'm Sunghoon. And you are…?” he prompts.
“Yn.” you mutter. A look of familiarity flickers through his eyes before he turns away, still speaking. “You shouldn't be here, yn.”
The way he said your name made you feel things.
“Why not?” you asked, confusion on your face. He turns to look back at you. His eyes bore into yours, “You… are you not affected by this place?”
“I am. It's colder than outside, somehow. Feels like there's something around me.” you replied, think it'll calm him down, but that only tenses him up.
“You don't remember. You don't remember anything, do you?” His voice is sharp, but it hides a hint of pain that you don't notice.
“I– I've never met you. So, I don't know why I would.” you answered. You looked so innocent.
His eyes locked onto yours, hurt hiding behind a layer of ice. “It's– It's not safe for you here,” he said, running a hand through his perfectly set hair, making a few strands fall in front of his eyes.
“For me? Or for everybody?” you added, wondering if he slipped up or if we meant only you.
He sighed. “Yes, for everybody. But for a young blooded pretty girl like you? Way worse.”
You blinked at his words, suddenly overwhelmed by the sincerity in his voice. You nod, realizing you're playing with matters far higher than just average. “Then… maybe I should go.” You turn to move towards the door.
But then his hand latches onto yours, the feeling leaving a chilly sensation through your arm. It wasn't a regular feeling.
It was… electric. Supernatural.
Then you noticed his fangs, peeking out by only a millimeter. His skin basically glowing in the moonlight coming from outside. You let out a shuddery exhale at that.
He leaned in, his voice barely audible even in the silence of the night. “It's not just you. Your blood, your soul. It's different.” And with that, he let go, pushing you towards the door and disappearing down the stairs himself.
You gasped as you got out of the cathedral. The air got warmer as you took deep breaths. You basically sprinted back to your home, panting as you laid down in bed, trying to forget that this ever happened.
That night, you saw Sunghoon in your dream. Although, it didn't feel like it was a dream at all, more like a memory.
You sat in a garden, with red roses in front of you. Sunghoon walked up to you, a soft smirk on his face as he brought up a plate with some food for the both of you to enjoy.
You saw yourself smiling up at him. Him planting a kiss on your forehead, then your neck.
Then, as the sun began to set, he carried you inside to the bedroom, laid you on the bed.
And made love to you.
It was so real, so believable.
You woke up in a sweat the next morning. Still panting when your mother walked in and asked what happened? You just said it was a bad nightmare.
And when you headed out to the town square, basket in hand, you swore you could feel Sunghoon in the blood coursing through your veins.
As you braided the flowers together to make a tiara, or a pretty bouquet, every time you saw a red rose a tint too dark, you thought of Sunghoon. You didn't even know why.
Were those dreams actually memories? Or just a figment of your imagination?

Sunghoon, meanwhile, was still in the cathedral, in the basement. Sitting right in front of the Altar. His six brothers all spread across the room, some sitting, some standing and one, Jake, pacing.
The oldest, Heeseung, spoke up. “Are you sure it's her?” He was concerned about Sunghoon, and the legacy that their family carried.
Sunghoon looked up, nodding. “I'm certain. Her touch, her blood, everything was different.”
Riki and Jungwon, the two youngest vampires, looked at each other, not knowing much about who you were except that you had a history with the brothers. When the two were only kids.
“Her name is yn, for fuck's sake. And she…she didn't flinch when I touched her.” He continued, looking around at all of his brothers. “It's definitely her.”
Jay nods. “If you're sure, then I believe you.” Sunghoon nodded at him in gratitude.
“Fine, I'm in. But only if I get some good food,” said Riki, a smirk on his face. Jungwon laughed at Riki's statement, but agreed with Sunghoon's theory nonetheless.
One by one, all his brothers pitched in to help him out with his plan. Even Sunoo, who knew you well and absolutely didn't like you.
The Plan? Make you remember.
Make you remember the blood he sucked out of your neck. Make you remember the lace you wore on that same night. Even if it was centuries ago.
