i love building secret underground bases under one specific friend's base in minecraft

i do this to literally everyone. during my friend group's two week minecraft phase there is inevitably a web of secret tunnels connecting everyone's base to mine.

the space race may be the funniest point in history period and i'll stand by that. the US is like "yes whoever gets into space first will prove once and for all that our economic model is superior and that we are, in general, the superior country of superior and smarter people." then the soviets just went and did it and the US freaked out and needed to cover their ass so were like "WE MEAN THE MOON, WE MEAN THE FIRST TO LAND ON THE MOON."

this is why i believe nobody won the space race. in order to win a race, you have to reach a finish line, right? and where exactly is that in space? it sure as fuck isn't the moon since there's a whole bunch of other shit beyond the moon. space is fucking huge and there is no way you will ever win a race to explore it because there will always be more shit there to explore. nobody won the space race because they barely made it past the starting line.

Cannot express how disinterested I am in seeing traumatized characters "reconcile" with their canonically shitty parental figures.

I probably don't have to even say this but this has turned out to be the most "omg Blorbo from my shows" post I could have made. I have no idea who tf 90% of the people in the tags are but you're very passionate about them.
