ok here’s the deal. i am going to be archiving this blog. it’ll have the same url, probably the same theme, dash icon, basic rules, all that. but i need a fresh start. my tags are a mess. there are too many people following me, except that most of the blogs are archived/inactive ones and the high follower count is what makes me most anxious about being here right now. i could go through my list of followers and soft block inactive blogs, yes. but it would probably take less time to start fresh. then i can follow you all there and things can pretty much be the same. i really feel like i need a clean slate to kick start my favorite auburn haired woman!

one of my favorite things about lily is that it’s canon that she regularly broke international wizarding law in order to show off some of her magic outside of school and got letters from the ministry more than once about it.

it’s my personal headcanon that sometime during seventh year, lily read a report in the prophet where death eaters had used fiend fyre on a group of muggles, and she then worked very hard to learn how to conjure it, control it, and put it out. if the people hunting her were going to use that method of destruction on her, she was going to make damn sure she could shock them by having as much control over the substance as they did. also it was a nice bonus to get free ashwinder eggs that she could use and sell on the black market.

          After several moments of looking and rejecting boxes, a small satisfied smile tugged at the corner of her mouth. “I may have a way to stabilize the other brand of fireworks while also upping the power on them,” she said, looking up at Sirius with what she hoped was a friendly expression. And stuck out her hand to shake. “But you have to promise that you won’t use these to target a particular student. Deal?”
