I’m likely going to be a little scarce for a while. Not sure when I’ll be back on like I used to be. Just long.. looong story short, gotta bum rush the rest of packing to be in a new place by December 1st. Just a LOT is going to be going on and I don’t know if I’ll have the energy to do things until we’re all settled in.

“You don’t need to go through the trouble, Aether! It’s uh.. more of a birthday I picked for myself anyway since I can’t remember my real one.”

“Oh! I nearly forgot it’s my birthday today.. Perhaps I’ll buy myself a small treat.”

“It’s almost my birthday already? I can’t believe the 15th is nearly here.. Time sure does fly by.”

“I will admit I am a bit.. short for an Oni. Though I think I’m fine as is!”

“I know I can ask for help, Hakuno.. It’s just difficult at times.” Nix needed plenty of assistance during her recovery from all her physical injuries. She even required assistance after the wounds had healed for some time after that, seeing as she forgot a great many of things. So it felt like the silverette had all the help she needed for quite a long time. Wouldn’t it be selfish of her to ask for it for something so minor in comparison? The woman should be capable of helping herself by now no matter what right? “I can handle myself though.”

The festival in Mondstadt was coming to a close soon but that didn’t mean Nix wasn’t enjoying it still. The breeze felt so comforting as she sat atop a grass covered hill that over looked the market. “I have to admit, I see why people at least love the smell of wine. It has a nice aroma, not that I ever drank any.” As far as she could remember anyway, which wasn’t saying too much due to anything before a year or two was a complete blank. “Hmm.. It does make me curious though.”

“Something different? I trimmed off some split ends off if that’s what you noticed.” She walked over to Agni and placed a kiss on his cheek. “Is there something on your mind, Agni?”

 To be honest, Nix really should’ve asked the individual before her why he was looking the previously missing client. She just heard Childe was looking for him as well and so worked together to find this location in the end. “I’m glad you have found what you were looking for. As for my connection..” It didn’t escape her eye that the red head was fishing precious gems out of the sands and water. So she reached into her bag to carefully bring out a small cloth pouch. “That man approached me with a commission and handed me these gems. Before I could ask him what he wanted them placed into, he had disappeared into the crowd. So I’ve been trying to find him to either return them or finally get an answer.. Are you looking for these too?”

“Sinbad, I’ll be fine..” Nix stood still as he wiped the blood off her face, the source of it being a scratch on her cheek. She was narrowly able to evade the arrow fired her way but it still managed to graze her. “It’s just a scratch compared to what it could’ve done. Are you hurt..?”

“Now I see what protective siblings are like..”
