1) Looking at the wordless comic, write down what you notice - particularly tonal or gestural pivots—and think about how the comic operates without words

2) Add your title (from the slip you chose) to the top of the panel: how does this adjust your sense of the meaning

3) Add the words/passage I gave you from The Picture of Dorian Gray to your comic strip keeping the words and sequence the same but cutting if you have to (i.e., you can make jump cuts in the passage, as long as you don’t change the words).

4) Discuss how this restaging as comic adjusts your sense of Wilde's meaning.
