Hello Sense — Unboxing and First Impressions

(This is the first of a series of posts about the Sense, a Kickstarter project-turned-product from Hello. Further posts will detail software and ongoing usage. Therefore, this isn’t a review. Duh.)

After months of waiting and wondering, my Sense sleep tracker arrived at my doorstep. As the device maker has consistently talked about their design goals and process (seriously, watch the videos), I thought it’d be appropriate to have a camera handy to document the packaging and subsequent unboxing experience.

I wasn’t disappointed.

I fed California Gulls by chucking bread into the air. I filmed them with my iPhone 5S in slow motion. Watch them catch the pieces with precision. Amazing!
