Daily Reminders; Violentine Is Life

since skybound wanted to make multiple comic issues ANYWAY but didn’t want to interfere with determinant character choices, they could’ve literally made…. 3 little comics with different plotlines in each that involved working with either Louis, Violet, or Tenn; and it could’ve been a fun little “choose your own adventure/canon” for the reader based on their choices… it would’ve been a neat homage to the fact that you impacted the game’s story, while still respecting the canon end of Clementine’s journey to find a home and the franchise as a whole…. but go off i guess

Did y’all love Clementine and Violet in Telltale’s the Walking Dead? Well you’ll be glad to hear that the upcoming Clementine comics have destroyed the ending to the Telltale games, as Clementine abandons the school and AJ. Fun.

y’all I wouldn’t be nearly as mad about the clementine comic if she wasn’t COMPLETELY ALONE AGAIN. The entire point of the final season was that she finally had her own little family with AJ, Violet/Louis, and all the other Ericson kids. I would much rather have a comic with the Ericson kids going to Richmond and meeting Javi. Hell, I’d be okay with the current plot as long as the Ericson kids were with her. It just feels like we’re rehashing what the final season of the games already gave us. I’ll have to wait until I read this, but I’m not sure how much of it I’ll regard as canon.

As a community, I think the walking dead fandom should boycott the new comic, and the following graphic novels. The comic was absolute hot garbage, and a lot of people are upset.
