I won't say this muse has left me entirely, but maybe it's just me and the effort needed to actually think of something that has multiplied to exponential proportions. And the fact that I can't do length now that I've school work piling up and all that.

How hard is it to write a time-travelling character without over-thinking the paradoxes and trying to resolve them without incurring a massive headache and lowered confidence in my abilities to think about serious concepts like time.

"I will always find some way to try and blame myself, it is just my nature. I grew up being told everything is my fault. The only reason I push everything out and ignore my problems is because of Lily. I want her time here to be happy, how ever long she has…. When she is gone, I am not sure what I will do…" He looked at the prefect with pleading eyes.

"You will always need me, right? I will always have a purpose?" Gilbert needed a purpose, he was sure if he did not have one that he would succumb to madness. He hugged his legs just a bit tighter. He was beginning to calm down, just a bit.

"Yes, I will." A bout of hesitant silence proceeded from this gentle admission. "...And, don't you know, it wouldn't be imaginable for me to have -- survived school till now without your help. ...You know how I'm like when it comes to work, and, well...you deserve much credit for stopping things from becoming a mess, and getting things done. --Whether I liked it or not," Violet added dryly.

"Also...I've never said this before, but... That means a lot to me. Especially this year. And...being able to trust you. --That, as well...was --is-- important. I have very few -- no, I mean... I am glad you are my fag. ...Thank you." The last statement was a fairly quiet mumble.

Violet withdrew, as if suddenly self-conscious, and crossed his arms atop his knees. "Not forgetting, you have musical talent. Isn't that a good purpose in itself...?"

The university I'm in comes with a bundle of motley requirements so to fulfill those I'm also in Introductory Sociology and Introductory South Asian Studies. ]
