Anything I should know about on your end? I feel like I’m missing out.

Nothing crazy, but we think it’s time for some specific people to know about what we do. 

“Well, maybe that’s what I’ll just call my next shop that I open. Or, even better, it’ll be my stage name when I become a full time magician.”

“I don’t know about stage name. You might have to get a bit more clever for a gig like that.” 

“My species has already been broadcasted to the entire world, and I’m registered. Not exactly trying to keep who I am a secret anymore.”

“Does it look like anyone gives a damn if you’re registered? You flaunt yourself off to the wrong person, you’ll have a personal fourth of July attack right on your ass.” 

“Ugh, tell me about it– I feel like I know everything that happens in the show without ever having watched it, because of how much people talk about it. Anyways, how’ve you been? You weren’t at the 4th of July party, were you?”

“I wasn’t there, thankfully. Were you? Were you hurt at all? You know, at this rate, the shit that happens to us might actually one up that show.” 

So be it, I’m perfectly fine with that.

Not necessary. I don’t even like the guy my cousin’s dating and I usually like the people she likes so shit won’t happen.

“Don’t tell people I gave you that, though. Everyone in this city could use a drink right about now, and I’m not that friendly.”

“I wouldn’t ask that too loudly.”

Making friends is nice. You should try it sometime. 

Yeah, well, they’re still going to come ‘cause you don’t see them making any means to find out who did this. That tells you how much they care. But it had to be a witch that helped. No way that amount of smoke can stay in a cooped up area that long.

They care, you just don’t see it that way. As for witches? That narrows our list down to about 90% of people I know.
