So people really think it wasn’t the boys that got the show cancelled? Because guess what they did

16 main characters is insane, I’m sorry but the show was going to get even more expensive in s3. The boys added nothing, they didn’t bring any new audience adding them they thought them would bring more girl audience and it was a fail. The boys and girls were going to make more in s3 as they are now equal. Plus they would have had to buy all of them tickets fly them out, hotels for all of them. Not only that if they wanted future flashbacks you have to have families for all 16 of them now you see where I am getting at. It would have been ridiculous. Them cutting the season to 8 episodes should have been a hint to where the Wilds stood budget wise. If this was the girls only show we would have had 4 seasons. Amy and Sarah bit off more than they could chew and it got them in the ass

And blaming fans for being loud about how unhappy they were is not a bad thing. For once I am glad because writers now days think they get away with shit. Hopefully this never happens to another female show ever again

Oh and season 2 was so bad that’s the kind of season that gets a show cancelled and look it did. Writing wise and the whole mood it was a whole different show from s1

The Wilds canceled.

Sad for cast and crew, alas Season 1 was all about girls, including a fan favorite sapphic couple, then they said ok cool now let’s make Season 2 be 90% about guys — fans loudly said NO, they said “deal with it HA” and even let the social team and male actors antagonize fans.

This is the result.

Some day people will learn how to actually respect women viewers and LGBTQ audiences…

P.S. I was late to the show, checked out S1 due to all the amazing word of mouth via excited LGBTQ fans saying “Ya gotta watch this!” So I did. It was addictive and got better with every episode. Then I heard what was coming for S2, and couldn’t bring myself to watch. Anyway, “We needed guys to make fans understand women and how the two are different.” wasnt the flex/strategy they thought it was. 😬 RIP

The Wilds cancelled and I hope this is a mother fucking message to writers. DONT ADD MEN TO A FEMALE CENTRIC SHOW AND THEN SIDELINE THEM
