Words.

I'd have to say that this wasn't what I expected.  It's more than what I imagined.  Today, we have begun our journey into affecting the lives of others.  Our products have entered the minds of possible prospects and I'm hoping that the entire event would surprise me (in a good way).

All I have to say is, I can't wait to see what's coming up next.

Today, I was able to hang out with a groupmate of mine, she is the leader of our group and we tried to finish all of the needed papers but to no avail.  This doesn't mean we didn't accomplish anything though!  We were able to finish portions of what we suppose to accomplish.  

Next week is the beginning of our product launching.  My hopes for this is to be a real attention grabber.  I hope they see VALUE in our product.  A miniature thought is to have our business provide a somewhat inspirational message to at least one person that you can do anything as long as you work hard for it, as long as you pay attention, as long as you have the will.

While waiting for a colleague in EMPIRE, I got the chance to have an impromptu photo shoot with some friends - Camille & Donna.

To my surprise, it wasn't that hard because I already gained skills from previous shoots and since it was lunch time, the sun was out and I had a light source to count on.

It was already around 2pm when the real photo shoot came to.  I got to meet some fresh faces - Beatriz, Icee and Jessica.

I knew the concept was corporate and semi casual but since I've never seen my model, I was a little worried on whether I'd be able to take a good shot of her within my 30 minute budgeted time frame.  I did!  Surprisingly, it only took a few shots to grab that perfect shot.

An hour later, I was able to shop in Trinoma for some new clothes.  With the total amount of money I spent, I was able to have a free bee bag from SOEN. :)  I got a new tote bag - THIRD CULTURE.  With the new bag, I placed all things I bought in it - 5 brown paper bags :))

Today was full of fun and excitement, the obvious and serendipity, wavering and the rush.  I didn't expect today to be such a tiring and yet eventful day.  Waking up a few minutes after my alarm clock going off, I wavered.  I was still sleepy but awake.  I just stood or sat at a moment where I did nothing and it made sense.

There was a Markprof and P&G seminar today in school.  I had the privilege to attend one of them.  I planned to attend the Markprof Roadshow but in the end, I attended the P&G seminar, simply because a friend of mine mistook the venues XD  I won't say that it was regretful but I didn't know what to expect, leaving me a bit clueless at the start.

I ended up learning about a company that is "big and makes stuff."  I coined this from one of the people who attended and answered the question posted by one of the recruiting managers; they asked, "So what are your perceptions about P&G?"  They have an internship or a full time hiring program, which falsifies the so-called myth people say than P&G doesn't hire.

Overall, the event was successful.  A lot of people interacted with each other, asking questions to the representatives who came to answer our questions.  

There was even a cocktail.  The food was yummy!  

What caught my attention was the drinks because it was different from any place I drank.  There was apple bits in the drink.  Unique.

Overall, the seminar motivated me to set up a mind set of entering and learning from a company.

There may be good or alright things which may have happened but overall, my started and ended with a gloomy and sabaw kind of feeling.  Today began with a cold and rainy morning.  It was the type of day where you'd just like to sleep in and feel the icy sheets of your blanket.  I didn't wake up as early as I hoped and with the rains downpour, I was late for my first class.  I don't know how many times I've been late in this class.  Normally, one would be afraid to be late for so many times but I really try to leave the house as early as I could.

A break between all of the school work, I spent time manning the booth for Markprof.  It was a different experience since YES shared this booth with ECONORG.  Normally, you'll meet people who are very active members of YES but this time, I spent my lunch break with people from ECONORG.  I was able to meet their president and some members.

There are times when you would just like to leave the booth, of course, especially when you see a line of people for free Dairy Queen.  It was such an envious scene.  You sitting in the Markprof Booth while everyone else got free ice cream.  Although, I'd have to say that it wasn't the ideal day to eat cold sweets.  The rain stopped but the weather was cold.

It's so embarrassing when you hear someone say that you're lagging behind. I felt that way this week.  All I can do is blame myself.  I wasn't prepared for this week.  

I've set my new goals for this weekend.  I'm going to really really study hard.  Time management and all that to help me get through next week and the weeks to come.  The hardest part of the beginning is arriving and I want to be prepared for it.  Afterall, you can't face a battle if you're not ready.

I wasn't sure if I was ready.  I wasn't able to review these notes during the past few days.  It was only last night and this morning that I got a chance to study for this exam.  I was really on the edge.  The only thing in my mind was that I had to focus more so that more information would get into my head.  I had no time to worry, no time to fear, and definitely no time to get angry.

Has anyone had that moment when you would just like to study in peace?  Where no one would bother you so you could continue studying and try to ace an exam?

Some people don't get it though.  They think it's alright to keep talking even if they see you busy with work and assignments.  It's as if it wasn't important for me.  The urge to get angry was there but I couldn't let in interfere.  I just had to let it in and out so that I would feel nothing.  By feeling nothing, I would be more concentrated.

I want to cry. I remember the saying "Crying doesn't solve anything."  I want to argue that it does!

The overwhelming feelings - fear, afraid, etc - all subside or go away after crying.

HELL WEEK

There are times when you are just caught by surprise and not because you weren't listening but because you didn't remember.  I was faced with an exam after my first two classes.  Luckily, I was able to practice a bit when we had assignments for the lesson.  BUT SERIOUSLY, I thought the test was going to happen on WEDNESDAY and not TODAY. :))

I started reading up my notes once I got into the classroom.  Everyone was asking around about the terms since I believe they've already studied the solving part at home.  I just brushed up on my notes since I copied the ppt onto my notebook during discussions.  As I prepared for the quiz, I drank my first infinitea - Coffee Vanila.  To my surprise, the coffee wasn't bitter at all!  The only setback I had was that it was too hot for me to drink all at once. XD

I felt relieved after the exam because answering all the questions and reviewing my answers, I was able to convince myself that everything was going to be alright.  I didn't answer it as fast as I could, I just took my time.

A deserving treat opportunity came along when I finished the exam.  It had to do with the 4 FREEZERS OF FREE MOCHIKO!  Ana, Rizza and I lined up from one side of Yuchengco Lobby.  The free mochis were way on the other side of the building.  We were hopeful that there would still be mochis left by the time we get to the front of the line because there were only 550 mochis left when we lined up.  There were two lines, we took the left side.

Today started out gloomy.  I didn't want to wake up.  My eyes were heavy.  I was awoken by responsibilities and I didn't like waking up that way.  For me, waking up should be a happy feeling and not a sad sad feeling.

This day was crazy and heavy, in a sense that not completing certain tasks would really cost you.  It also shows that I haven't started out with the rest of my tasks because I'm focusing all of my energy into one humungo project.

All I had to calm myself was to sing, breath and continue on. 

Luckily, as the day passed into the afternoon and into the night.  Good news kept popping up and I am so relieved.  I can breath.  I don't feel choked.  It went on until a point where there's too many news. Hahaha!  I really needed help sorting things out but I knew that things would be alright.

In some ways, I still don't understand why these happen.  I've researched a bit about it.  I read  some stuff about RAM and Lucid dreaming.  It did explain some things I pondered upon.

Uncertainty

There are times when my dreams hold certain scenes which made me feel so happy and myself in the dream but once I wake up? I don't feel the same way anymore.  I just find myself looking for answers.  I want to know what they mean.

Troubled

I often have these when I'm stressed.  It usually involves me, running away from the scary things like a giant violet plant with sharp teeth chasing after me once I dropped my school papers. Or like even the time when I just didn't know what to do?  Like I didn't know how to arrange the piling paper works or responsibilities.  That's just harsh to me.  I'm getting overwhelmed and it reflects in my dreams.

My Fantasy

There are of course good times as well.  I live in a place where nothing ever seemed real but felt right in the dream.  There are so many places like a hotel with two pools (infinity & jacuzzi fountain type).  I could fly.  I was there and wasn't.  It's like I could control the dream but not entirely.  Is this my subconscious telling me something? 

And then there was last last night ~ a dream which just startled me because I cried when I woke up.  A few minutes delayed but I cried.  This feeling felt so much like the times when I was just living in a moment of happiness, uncertainty and excitement all at the same time in the dream.  A lot of things happened that certain year and I never thought I'd feel this way again.
