The reusable mask is here to stay.
It feels like it happened overnight. One day care-free, the next is filled with worry and anxiety. Bills, bills, bills, and more bills, One thing is for sure, you gotta stay safe. In comes the mask and all its wonderful inconveniences. Mostly, they were hard to find, and when you did, they were expensive. The mask either didn’t fit right or was mostly ineffective. The solution to reducing the spread of Covid-19 was a reusable face covering.
This mask would not be medical grade, but it could at least diminish the effects of coughing and sneezing. By providing a barrier, the risk of transmission is reduced. Convenience is key here because changing your mask three times a day is simply, unfeasible. You want something soft to the touch, and moisture-wicking. Something you can throw in the wash and reuse time and time again.
Just by wearing a mask we can slow this virus to a crawl. That being said, the mask is here to stay. It’s an accessory now. People match them with their outfits and moods. It makes sense since the mask (or lack thereof) is the first thing you notice on a person these days. Our gaze lasts longer because half your face is disguised. Not everybody can smile with their eyes.
A personal touch is required to make this new accessory your own. Maybe it's a funky pattern you love or a clever quote you wanna express. As long as it exudes your personal flair, almost anything goes. You can even have them screen-printed or heat pressed with vinyl graphics, the sky’s the limit.
