FedEx update to tell me that my package is undergoing some sort of Hero's Journey
Neil in Esbjerg in 2026 vs Ibiza in 2016
Whenever you touched me, I knew you were comparing me with Rebecca. Whenever you looked at me or spoke to me or walked with me in the garden, I knew you were thinking, "This I did with Rebecca," and this and this. Oh, it's true, isn't it? Rebecca (1940) dir. Alfred Hitchcock
âchocolate guyâ is currently shilling for harry potter so i better not see yall post his shit anymore. anyone who engages with that shit especially for money is scorched earth as far as iâm concerned.
Oh no, a person making chocolate sculptures for the rich has made a chocolate sculpture of a character from the most famous children's book series in the world!!! How terrible, we should hang him for his crimes against humanity!
Seriously, get real problems if this is what's getting to you.
And also, go outside and touch grass.
thereâs nothing i can say thatâs more embarrassing than what your blog looks like. this is genuinely sad

Neil and Chris in Oslo before their show at Unity Arena
autism tests are so funny. I'm extremely literal most of the time, but people don't tell me that generally, so I'm inclined to answer disagree. because I'm taking the statement too literally
^not my post but same sentiment

if you bought any outshine bars recently (as of August 18th 2026) check your fridge I have a recalled box in my freezer
Did you buy them? See list of recalled products and search to see if they're sitting in your freezer.
that article is ass to try to scroll through so:
Select batches are being recalled due to possible glass contamination, no injuries reported.
Batches have best by dates ranging from June 2027 to November 2027 and flavors are:
Black Cherry
Grape
Strawberry
Tangerine
Watermelon
The recall is for select batches, not every single box, so you should still scroll through to check if you do have these to make sure itâs your batch.
so cool how advanced the algorithm has become, it literally only takes like a decade or more of spying on all my internet activity and then it can expertly curate a selection of 15-20 youtube videos that i don't really want to watch, and then keep showing me those videos over and over again for a week so i can scroll past them again. the future is now
Jackie: âHallo Spaceboyâ, that got to number 12 in 1996 for David Bowie and his new chums, the Pet Shop Boys. Such a wonderful, full-circle moment for you. And letâs remind people that: the lovely story, because I donât know if itâs widely known, of the serendipitous way in which you guys met.
Neil: I mean, if we hadnât gone into the electrical shop on the Kings Road, we wouldnât be sitting here now. The guy in the shop wasnât behind the counter because he was makingâ he was welding my lead for me.
Jackie: Mmm! Right.
Neil: He wasâ and you could smell the welding in the shop! And, um, oh, I guessâ
Chris: I probably said to him, âOh, is that you?â
[Neil laughs]
Jackie: And what were you doing there, Chris?
Chris: Whatâs that called when youâve got no intention of buyingâ you just go into the shop to waste everyoneâs time?
Jackie: I believe they call it browsing, browsing.
Chris: Whatâs the point in the odds of me buying anything, Iâve got noâ
Neil: I always thought you were buying a cassetteâ
Chris: Iâve got no money.
Neil: Oh. We talked toâ Chris was chatty. I remember Chris was chatty.
Chris: Hard to believe, innit?
Jackie: Yeah!
Chris: Hard to believe, on my own, quite chatty.
Neil: I was pretty proud of the fact that Iâd bought a synthesizer, this was the future of music, aroundâ by 1981, and I knew nothing about it. And I discovered that Chris was a keyboard player, as well as being a trombone player⌠and we met up several days later, âcause we lived around the corner from each other, which was probably why we were also in the same shop. And, um, that was when we went back to my flat and startedâ Chris started fiddling around with the synthesizer, and, umâ
Chris: Actually, thereâs any number of places we could have met. Could have met in CafĂŠ Picasso. I was in there every day.
Neil: We could have. The Chelsea Potter Pub?
Jackie: Perhaps it was always meant to be, you were always going to meet somewhere.
Chris: Food shop? That weird shop?
Neil: You always used to, on the King's Road at this time in Chelsea, bump into Bob Geldof and Paula Yates.
Chris: Yeah.
Jackie: And do you remember the first, um, record, or artist, that you both were like, âOh, I love them too!â You had that moment?
Neil: Yeah, at the time there were two electronic duos in the charts: OMD, with their song, âSouvenirâ, and Soft Cell, with their second single, âBedsitterâ, and we both liked those records.
[Plays part of âSouvenirâ]
Chris: And I was living in a bedsit at the time and it was, well, it was horrible. So, I could really relate to that first entire Soft Cell album.
[âBedsitterâ plays]
Jackie: âBedsitterâ by Soft Cell, a song that Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, our V.I.P guests on todayâs conversation special, first bonded over when they met in 1981 before they became Pet Shop Boys. And do you remember the first impression you had, quietly in your own mind, for you Neil, when you heard Chris play, and for you Chris, when you heard Neil sing?
Chris: Neil played me a few of his early demos, presumably they were the ones that youâdâ
Neil: Yeah, Iâd recorded in a studio.
Chris: I thought they were quite good, actually. There was always a good bit in them, a sort of clever bit. So, I thought heâs obviously got a bit ofâ a bit of talent.
Neil: A bit of talent.
Chris: A bit of talent.
Neil: He needsâ He needs a good keyboard player.

i confess i don't really understand what people mean when they say they cannot find good books to read anymore. like. go to the shop or library and choose a book??
the problem generally seems to be something along the lines of 'everyone on tiktok is telling me to read books i think sounds bad' and its like ok i do not think those people have your best interests at heart
