Today I was invited to speak about an important topic and a special project I have been working on for the past 8 months. It is the second time I am able to share a personal story and journey to people in my community, with the main goal and big hope of one day making a difference out there. It’s an amazing feeling to realize people out there not only share your views in this specific subject but are also interested and support you as well. Ending HIV stigma is something we can all accomplish together. Education, awareness, respect, tolerance. I can truly say this has already taught me more than I expected. Every time I get a chance to share my story with others, there is a complete full circle connection when stories are shared back. When you feel, understand, and learn as well from these stories trusted to you. Forever grateful for the love and support.
