So I know that today is January 1st of 2021 and that this year was far less fruitful in terms of fic production than years prior, I just want to say how thankful I am for you all and for the continuous support you offer! Seeing readers come back to older fics like A Melody or Burning Matches or Mac's Skeletons truly warms both of our hearts, and without the love you gave a young girl going into her sophomore year of high school years ago now, I certainly wouldn't be where I am today—as in planning to become a part of the writing world and try to (eventually) be published! I am so thankful to be a part of a community pooling with love; one that boosted my confidence and nurtured me into adulthood; stayed with me regardless of my emotional state, supported me when I needed it most. There's a lot more I could say here, but I'll spare you the semantics, and instead just say that despite my inactivity here, you can reach out to me on my other accounts, all @veronicaorinn on goodreads, instagram, tumblr, & twitter. my main issue with roleslaying with roman is that there are so many dnd play-through podcast/videos/whatever (taz, critical role, d20, NADDPOD, etc.) and as an avid player, it's weird seeing such short sessions. obvi thomas sanders' videos are never particularly long, but every episode of the adventure zone (balance, amnesty, graduation, ethersea) i listen to or dimension 20 i watch (tiny heist, mismag, that's really it i'm not a big fantasy high gal) always is around an hour and a half, and the campaigns i am actively a part of sometimes take up to six hours before we find a steady stopping point. (like today. today was a six hour sesh and it was AWESOME, but it was six hours and i'm exhausted)
