“Yeah… probably wouldn’t go in there,” Buffy closed a door behind her with some force, mostly as payback to the couple inside for the eyesore she’d had to witness, “With the way secrets are basically currency around here you’d think people would know how to use a lock. There wasn’t even mistletoe in there, like… I’m calling the Christmas police, this is unlawful activity.”

“I don’t think the Christmas police are going to take care of that.” Thackery says, his nose wrinkling, “If I were a police officer, I would need a bullet proof vest for all the tongue thrashing happening in there...”

Flynn didn’t expect anything to come from his attempting of smoothe talking, well, he expected a slap in the face or for Nell to sprout her distaste for him once more. what he didn’t expect was to be kissing the girl right then and there. And not some pathetic ass kiss, no this was a real kiss. Flynn didn’t even have time to savor it, he stood there wide eyes and remained that way once they pulled away. “and here i thought all this time you hated me.”

She didn’t have a moment to even sit in victory before he opened his mouth again, the corners of her own mouth turning downward at his words. “I do hate you.” She says, though she’s not sure she believes her own words at this point. “I just wanted you to shut up... you’re always everywhere...”

“Could’ve been a good fashion statement.” She shrugged, closing one eye for a moment as she felt another wave of her high hit her, a soft laugh escaping her mouth, damn those gummies were fucking good. “The good kid? Mm that doesn’t exist. No kid is ever fully good. At one point we all piss our parents the fuck off.”

“I mean, I’ll never be on the Disney level that Tree is,” Thackery explains with a laugh, “So I guess I have to start shedding the good boy image sooner or later... though I do well enough just passing by through the shadows. It’s fun sometimes being the unseen twin.”

“Neither does, dad. It’s confirmed you are a true Addams.” Casper smiled, poking her brother lovingly on the forehead. “she’s one of the many disney princesses that inhabit this realm. Let her have her moment of fun then go looking for her. I’d do it soon though. I don’t think mom and dad want to care for an elk or something in that size range. Dad barely knows how to handle a cat.”

“You and mom always say that I’m just like dad.” He says fondly, thinking of the way that his father deeply cares for those around him, “Fine, I’ll let her tend to the forest for now... but when she tries to brink a skunk home, I’m telling dad you let the disney princess roam for too long.”

“It’s a shame really that we didn’t get paired up together. You’d get a free pass to finally kiss me.” flynn commented, looking up and seeing that the two were standing under a mistletoe regardless. maybe the christmas spirit had somehow invaded his body and brought out a more decent side of flynn for once or maybe he was thriving on the sheer chaos of it all. whatever it was he was being a little nicer for once in his life. “the offering’s going once…going twice…” @victoireshipman​

She hated that this continued to happen, because Flynn Ortiz was a walking nightmare at this point. Continually, he would show up wherever she was and drive her absolutely insane. This time, however, she wasn’t going to open her mouth at his continued quips, or look at the way he approached her. She knew there was only one thing that was going to shut him up. She knows she’s going to regret this later, as she reaches her arms around his neck, kissing him on the mouth before her brain had the opportunity to scream common sense back into her.

“It’d be the next great American classic, that’s for sure.” Margaux nodded. “I couldn’t agree more. We get to simply enjoy the happenings. Although a part of me does wish that perhaps we could have skipped… all of this and have gotten to the part where I get to open the presents I’ve rightfully earned this year.”

“I think we’re rivaling Romeo + Juliet here, honestly.” She nods in agreement, turning to her half sister. “I know Dad has your presents in the car... I think we can sneak away and get to them.”

“Well, I was more referring to the number of Shakespearean dramas happening all around us but yes, the scenery is plenty great as well.” She nodded, running a hand through her deep blonde locks. 

“Someone should write a drama about Rosewood and all of it’s givings,” she laughs, “I mean, they know these cards are going to cause chaos, but I think we got the spoils.”

“And the truth comes out. It’s best to always be prepared, Thackery. That’s something she’s instilled in us yet here you are insisting you don’t need a coat.” she teased. “Adults and teens. The chaos doesn’t exclude any age here. Tree’s probably wandering off somewhere like she always does. She’s probably befriended a rouge deer. She’ll show up eventually if not the three of us can start a search party.”

“Listen, mom says the same thing, but I don’t know how to take advice.” He says with a laugh, turning his head to look for his twin, “You’re probably right... inciting world peace, keeping all of the forest animals in perfect harmony...”

“It might not be New York City,” Margaux commented on her current situation. “But I couldn’t ask for more.” Margaux said, a small laugh leaving her lips as she took in the situation in front of her.

Nell peers into the sea of people, taking in the chaos around her, “In all actuality... it’s pretty beautiful, is’t it?”

“Are you telling me that mom has left you without a proper coat? That’s very uncharacteristic of Tori Addams. She had you bundled up from head to toe when you were a baby you could barely move.” She laughed. “I’ll let her know if you come inside with me. you can sit with Alejandro and I.”

“Okay... in mom’s defense... I told her I didn’t need a coat or a scarf and my hat would suffice but I mean, I didn’t know I would be outside.” He admits with a chuckle, “I’d like that... there’s too much chaos with all of the adults, and I can’t find Tree anywhere...”

“Perhaps you should be inside for the ball then instead of staying out here in the cold.” Casper told her little brother, a fond smile on her face as adjusted his hat. “It’s not bad but it’s freezing and there’s a party with a bunch of food and warmth waiting for you to join.”

He laughs, wrapping his arm fondly around his sister’s waist. “Yeah, but I also didn’t wear my jacket... I don’t have a traditional winter coat, I guess... Maybe you should hint to mom...” he says with a grin, leaning into her.

“Yeah well you need a better coat. That’s basically nothing,” she said and pointed at what he was wearing. “But that’s why people drink, it makes them warmer so they don’t feel it.”

“Well I didn’t think wearing my snowboarding coat would be appropriate.” He mumbles, looking down to his suit jacket, “I’m being the good kid tonight,” he says with a laugh, “maybe I should break it.”
