renata typically desired to steer clear of angry people. dealing with intense emotions – sadness, annoyance, contempt – none of them were here strong suit. the mention of tennis, however, intrigued her. she had played a great deal in high school and sure did miss it. without thinking, she blurted, “tennis – tennis is my favorite!” mentally cursing herself for being so unruly, ren backtracked and said, “i mean, you don’t have to play by yourself if you don’t want to. to your luck, i have a racket in my room and no babysitter that will cancel on me. or, uh, also, no kid in the first place, but yeah.”

yuri holds back her amused quips, knowing very well the young windsor probably wouldn’t respond so well. it looked as if the vein in the middle of her forehead could pop within moments, or at least the wind could change as leave her semblance in a permanent state of displeasure. “i’ll play with you. i’m not overly great at tennis so i can promise you an overall victory.”

It wasn’t as if Izzy could stop herself from overhearing the conversation, as the English princess wasn’t exactly being the most subtle. She couldn’t help the disapproving look that came over her features as the realization that Victoria had just called a baby a thing, and then suggested to leave said baby along at home came to her. Though Izzy was not a mother, she’d practically raised her siblings, and the other princess’s words rubbed her the wrong way. Rather unsympathetically she said, “I’m sure you could find someone already at the courts willing to play.”

👀 …someone my muse likes, but doesn’t trust.

victoria doesn’t trust most people, mostly due to her own behavior. she wouldn’t trust someone like herself and assumes others to be just as untrustworthy as she at first meeting. however, she also doesn’t like many people, so finding someone who fits both of those is somewhat difficult. she would probably have to say either mark or zara fit this. mark, because she does like him and is amused by their conversations, and by her antics of being his bad influence, but they aren’t very close. not that she doesn’t think he is a trustworthy person, but due to how she has been betrayed by friends in the past few weeks, she is not giving it out very easily. zara, because she knows how dramatic the other princess can be and if victoria were to push the wrong button, that fire-y attitude could be let out on her ( not that victoria and zara don’t have this in common. ) furthermore, zara does have kind of a big mouth. // @priincecastillos, @hrh-zara

if you asked victoria if she admired her older sister, the question would be answered with a firm and loud ‘no.’ she can’t stand her nagging ways, her behavior that could only be caused by having a royal stick up her arse. however, victoria cannot deny to herself that deep down, she has some feelings of admiration for her sister. the blonde would not be able to rule a kingdom and is thankful that it would probably never fall on her to do so. diana has poise and knows how to hold her head high even in a struggle, qualities that can be admired. // @hrh-diana

this is easily answered by espen. of course, she never truly acted like she liked him, but they definitely had a teasing friendship before the summit gathered. but after everything that went down, victoria is still holding a grudge over the words he said to her in defense of aleksi. if someone is able to say such horrible things to her face like that and never feel the need to apologize, she has no room for them in her life ( even if she misses the way the life & death brigade used to be. ) // @espenhagebak

Teddy chuckled softly as he saw Victoria throw herself onto the bench, “Maybe you’ll just have to find something else to do today..” he said with a small shrug, making sure no one was around before he sat next to her. “Id offer to play but I’m not particularly fond of tennis..” Really he just couldn’t afford the risk of getting hit in the head with a tennis ball and irritating his tumor. “And since when have you even liked tennis?”

“Well…you certainly haven’t changed one bit, have you, Victoria?” Adonis grinned a bit as he walked up to the princess, finding her dramatics adorably funny. He had just gotten to the palace, after a lecture from his father since he found out Adonis had been hiding at one of their beach homes on another island away from his own castle to pretend he was at the summit when he wasn’t. So now here he was, knowing he’d be in for a talk form Victoria as well for not being there on time. “I’d say I’ll play you in tennis but I fucking hate tennis…” he joked, laughing a little to try to avoid a bad reaction from the girl.

“It was a fucking joke, do you know what that is or is your sense of humor completely gone?” Chris spat back out. He groaned and rolled his eyes again, “Listen, I didn’t even know it was your fucking room, I got lost, sue me.” he grumbled, not it he mood to deal with her shit. “Fucking helleveeg.” he huffed, running his hands through his hair.
