Home for Christmas 2017 by Alan Kane

Alan Kane ‘Home for Christmas 2017’ “For this year’s Tate Britain Christmas Commission, Alan Kane has illuminated the outside of Tate Britain with off-the-shelf Christmas-themed lights. Kane’s collection of light-up Santa’s, reindeer, snowmen and Christmas trees, along with “Merry Christmas” and “Santa Stop Here” signs transforms the main entrance of the gallery into a tribute to this seasonal expression of domestic creativity”.

Heart:Beat part of BCB 2017 Installation made with an assortment of bricks and bone China flowers. This installation is part of the exhibition at Bethesda Chapel in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is the 5th edition of British Ceramics Biennial in Stoke-on-Trent. There are over 100 artists from the UK, Europe, India and Korea with exhibitions at various venues across the city.
