An incredulous shake of her head, heart racing as Robin realized the weight of this moment. Her conversation with Vickie hinged on the rest of their plan now that she had been caught. She absolutely had to get her girlfriend? the other girl to understand. Robin threw her hands up, hopping off of the hospital bed, causing it to creak loudly and shift away from her. Her gaze was wide, pleading when it met Vickieβs again.
βThe earth has split in four- the military has taken over our town. Is what Iβm saying really that insane and hard to believe?β
βI wonβt think youβre understanding me. These kids parents donβt have a clue, and if I donβt get out of here soon we are screwed.β Her voice cracks in exasperation.
Robin walks around Vickieβs pacing for a moment, trying to step in front of her. She scoffs before finally putting her hands on the other girlβs shoulderβs to get her attention.
βVickie! Will you just stop and look at me!β Sapphire hues are wide, pleading as her gaze meets the otherβs. βYou know me- I donβt have a filter! And I mean, obviously I am not a good liar. This time itβs no bullshit. If I didnβt want to hang out with you I would tell you! It isnβt that. I want to be able to spend time with you.β
Vickie sighs and rubs her head and stops pacing
βSo you do want to spend time with meβ¦?β Vickie asks her voice soft
βI know you and you donβt have filter and you are a really bad liarβ She says this time a small smile on her face as she thinks about all the things Robin does that she likes times Robin has shown she doesnβt have a filter
βIβm just worried about you and Im trusting you that you arenβt lyingβ¦. But if you were on stuff you can talk to me Robin Iβm here for you, even if that means finding out thereβs another dimension and evil wizardsβ
