There was a cicada in my sink this morning. It's screaming kept me up half the night. I believe I dreamt a ton of random dreams but I can't decipher which ones if any were reality. Yesterday on the 6 train there were women arguing in sign language and it was the loudest goddamn conversation I have ever heard in my life. The last few days have been so unbearably bizarre that every moment of every day feels like it could be part of some story game that I am clearly losing. Well, maybe I'm winning, but if I am - it's only because I've been too far off for anyone to find me.

Learn to let go of what doesn't suit you, who doesn't love you and how you thought your life would look. Even if your heart breaks, even if you feel his lips on yours every time you speak his name. You may not feel whole tomorrow, but you always were and you always will be.
