“Then I suggest you keep those eyes of yours that shine like stars to my back.” He spoke with a light chuckle leaving him, turning his heel to make his travels back towards the Galden Quay. A two day’s treck on foot and just one on Chocobo back. His gloved hand reaches into his pockets to grab the silver whistle. “You know, I think I’m beginning to like you Mademoiselle, or do you prefer I call you by your name? Oh that’s right you have yet to introduce yourself.”

The thief spoke with a teasing tone right before setting the whistle to his lips and with a gentle blow it’s high tone propels through the ara being carried off into the wind. It still baffles him how great these birds hearing are that they could catch the sound of this whistle anywhere, though moments later came his ruby feathered partner. Its joyful kweh erupts from its beak upon seeing the thief once more. Nuzzling its face into his gloved hands for pats and caresses.

“You know if you want a lift you’re more than inclined to join unless you’ve got a hand on your own rental ride.” There was no more mystery around him, just a kind smile that genuinely would give her a ride. It would also be the start of building a bridge of friendship between them too.

    ۵ ◜𝄞◞ ۵ ┊ Did he not listen to a word she said? Or did everything go in one ear and out the other? Whatever the case, she does nothing more than roll her eyes at the other. No amount of flattery is going to help him. She may as well stop wasting time and be on her way. No way was she going to share her name to someone she doesn’t trust. The glaive might do anything against him, but nor will she do anything for him.

    Just as she ponders on leaving, the familiar whistle sounds clear as the associated chocobo speeds right on up to the other. Did he hope that the chocobo would allow her to trust him? Someone’s naive. At least he’s got a ride and now she must get back to hers. 

I’ve been wanting to revamp Gemiya’s blog for a long time so I figured now is a good opportunity to do so! A clean start will do me some good. The url is still the same! I hope to see you guys there!

Sullivan was keen to the change in Gemiya. Her confidence flatlined almost immediately (it made him a little guilty asking the question, truly). Blue eyes nestled themselves on her body language, all too familiar with the bit of fidgetting that came with uncertainty. Being in that unsure place himself, he was empathetic to it, listening intently to what she had to say. 

He wondered why she didn’t like Present Mic though. Most people would jump on that sort of opportunity. They weren’t really close enough for him to ask those sorts of things yet. 

“Both are wonderful options, but I can tell you aren’t fond of either of them.” He began, sincerely thinking about a solution to it. Who knew if she wanted one, but he wanted to try and give some help if he could. “Have you thought about sending out personal requests to heroes or organizations you are interested in yourself? You could get more options that way. If you don’t like your options, it can’t hurt to try.” 

    ۵ ◜𝄞◞ ۵ ┊ ❝ Heh. That obvious huh? ❞ And here she thought she was pretty good at making it not obvious that she was so displeased. Actually, she did consider that Warden would have a few things to teach her. Things to cover some of her own weaknesses or work on them enough to the point they’d no longer be a concern. So with that in mind she was definitely leaning heavily towards Warden.

2 more days buuuuut I also have plans to join in on a pal’s DnD campaign, I’ve promised some friends a reply/starters aaaand some voice call hangouts. Oh yes and delicious plotting.

Much to some people’s dismay, I’m not dead. COVID19 hasn’t gotten to me yet. I know, it’s sooo disappointing. Anywho.

If my dip in activity hasn’t made it clear, I’m on a hiatus. My classes are pretty demanding so that’s been eating up most of my time. I’ve got about one more month to go before I’m free.

Another tense laugh left the Nobody at her response. Of course he didn’t want to speak ill of his Other, but well…Sora had a bit more friendliness to him than the Nobody did. Though the brunet wasn’t all sunshine and smiles, he knew that and he wanted to make sure she did too. “…My Other makes fast friends but…I think it’s good he’s still got such a warm nature after everything.”

Or he could..totally fail at doing that. 

One of Roxas’ hands flew up to make contact with his forehead, staying pressed over his eyes at his walking companion’s remark about the cafe. The way she phrased it, well it made him realize that the suggestion of the cafe had been stupid, especially if he was supposed to be showing her around. It took a moment before he dragged his hand down his face groaning in the back of his throat and ready to say something. 

And then came the question on Struggle. “What’s-Oh. It’s a local game. It’s..Kinda hard to explain. But I can show you how to play?”

۵ ◜𝄞◞ ۵ ┊❝ Mm. I’m a bit envious of that quality of his, but its not an attitude that just anyone can pull off either. Nor does it work for everyone. ❞ That was likely made clear for everyone though so there is definitely no need to bring up that tidbit. Yet she did and she feels silly for having done so. 

    Ah... maybe it would have been better if she had stayed silent about that. Too late now, she can’t take her words back. Gemiya stays silent for a while to let Roxas figure out his thoughts and what he’d say next but it seems moving the conversation along is the best option here.
