I know people have been antsy about Lestat and Armand's history, as well as anything left to be revealed about the trial and the full context of Lestat's involvement.

I have to say, an episode where Lestat's body -- with or without his consciousness present -- is fully incapacitated and in Armand's possession definitely seems like a narrative space where that might be examined. Particularly in light of Sam's comments about this ep having the most horror they've ever done and then immediately segueing into how impressive Assad is in it.
