• MOM • 2017 was a rollercoaster ride! In the same year I got to see the release from of my older brother from jail after him doin 5 yrs...a few months later that same brother gets killed by people who I viewed as family to me. Making that phone call to my mother letting her know that Pierre was gone was the worst moment of my life!!!!! Of course the pain of losing my brother will never leave but me and my mother have gone thru a lot for years on years regarding my brother and his lifestyle choices. I have to remind myself all the time that he is in a better place! He will watch over use but its just me and you now Mom! You are the reason I am who I am Mom! Your strength to l keep pushing has always motivated my desire for a better life for us. Death is never easy but appreciating ones life while they are still on this Earth is very important! • TRIPPIE REDD OR YA DEAD • Back in Jan 2017 I vowed to do whatever I could to help a still largely unknown artist at the time named @trippieredd become the MegaStar. I had this brazy plan to somehow get him signed to @Future lol!!! Sidenote: I did manage to almost get him signed to Freebandz but thats another story! 🤦🏽‍♂️ I even made a post on my @VgoVsn page at the time stating to the world that I would do whatever I could to help Trippie. I still remember early on playing the song #LoveScars (his breakout single) for people and them looking at me like WTF is this!? 😂 It would make me so mad b/c I knew that song and Trippie as a whole were special! I didnt realize when we met how much I would grow to appreciate Lil 14/Big14. But after losing my brothera few months ago I was ready to quit music but oddly enough the rapid success of Trippie motivated me to continue. Early convos with Trippie about him losing his older brother and how that motivated him to go harder musically kept playing back in my mind. Watching the success of a song that I helped A&R (Love Scars 2) helped to remind me of the joy I felt from creating music and being in the industry. So I say all that to say, THANK U TRIPPIE!!!
