The last three times I've declared a blacklist in this guild, I've done it with sadness and regret. This time I am doing it with resolve. People you can find unequivocally toxic play this game and necessitate actions like this. From my own personal experience, Buddy Blastowitz is a predator and pedophile apologist. His known alts are Whisperbolt, Gazwhack, Roughsail, and Ghostgrinder.

To quote one of his victims, "As this is read, I’d ask for people to please keep in mind that victims of abuse often do not see how they are manipulated and why they hurt until they’re away and out of the control of the manipulator. We are isolated and then intimidated by 'repercussions' of all sorts to keep us silent, and to not speak out about what we went through. I have removed myself far enough from the situation and person that I was able to feel safe enough to open up about my experiences. Others have come forward in the wake of that first tweet."

When you're a guild leader and one of your members is writing underage erotic roleplay, yes it is. It absolutely is your job and he entirely failed his responsibility to his guild and the community at large.

While we are blacklisted this player, we are not doing so with his guild as a whole. He is a predator and if we blacklist them all it will only further serve to isolate them, making his aim of keeping them under his control easier.

While we are a open community here within Firebrand, there are a very few things that no one should accept. Pedophilia and underage erotic roleplay is one of these things. We do not wish to have this staple attached to our names and it’s because of this that we’re setting forth the rule that Firebrand Enterprise members are not to be engaging in any activity with this player or any of his alts. If you are found to be doing so, you will be immediately dismissed from the Guild with no questions asked, there is no warning. This is your warning.

Now, you may ask yourself: Well, how will they know if I do it in secret? Well, we’re not your babysitter, so, we’re not going to hover over you, but the amount of drama embroiled around this situation will most definitely be reach back to me either by someone narking or by the drama arriving on our doorstep. Keep in mind, in the cases I detail above, I had multiple sources of information. We will not allow this to stain our reputation as we are heavily involved in various guilds and community events in the game and we cannot and will not allow this to drag us down into the mud.

It is with distaste that we need to make this a policy because these kinds of roleplayers exist on Wyrmrest Accord, that the kind of people you can find unequivocally toxic play this game and necessitate actions like this. I would like to think that all the players we encounter are better people than this but they’re not and so, sometimes, actions must be taken.

A little over a month ago, a character named Zaerindar was removed from his guild because there were screenshots that he wrote as an underage character. He then joined The Blacksail Company. That guild leader was made aware of the situation and removed him. She has since re-admitted him to her guild and he holds Rank 2, most likely a senior officer position if not outright co-leadership.

At this time, another player named Bartonthil is also in that guild and I know a few of you are friends of his and that he sometimes seeks to write with us and those around us. While he is on this roster, he’s under the same blacklist.

If it is on a character that is not associated with us? I honestly don’t care. This guild and it’s connections is -far- more important than any one of us, or who you RP with outside of the guild, but if it has a Firebrand Enterprise guild tag over it? We are asking you cease action with them so we’re not forced to remove you.
