i don’t know how to tell you people that you should care about racism not because you’re invested in media created by people of color but because you care about people of color period

strong boundaries = strong relationships. it’s so important to know yourself, to know what you want and to be able to articulate what you want in a relationship. boundaries aren’t about keeping people out necessarily, it’s about keeping the good stuff in. boundaries are integrity, they keep people accountable and by maintaining your boundaries, you’re upholding your integrity. learn what your boundaries are and then learn how to communicate those, learn how to articulate those, learn what it means when someone crosses the boundary, when the integrity is not appealed and how you communicate that with them. strong boundaries create strong foundation for you to grow upon in the relationship.
