If Norman hadn't been wearing his armour, that attack would have hurt a lot more than it did. The force of the blow knocked him backward. He shook his head, hit a button on his wrist, and then pulled out an energy grenade.
"Oh, you really went for the dirty tricks, Stark. You want to play dirty? You're looking at the master of dirty tricks!"
Norman turned to the others. "Von, protect the baby! Dex, keep going feral! Someone get Matt away from Tony, I've got a score to settle."

Tony shot an energy beam at the stomach of the incoming Dex, "Wednesday, give me an ETA."
"Spare suits arrival, imminent."
"That's exactly what I wanted to hear." Tony replied, he allowed the thrusters to send him to the window, his beloved Matty in his arms, just as the spare suits flew in, one grey, the other blue. "And record this save, I need the good PR."
"Recording now, Boss."
The Grey suit aimed at the ceiling, carving a hole into the perimeter of it, while the other grabbed Norman's wrist, attempting to get him to drop the energy grenade. All the while, Stark himself made his departure through the broken glass, "Don't worry, Matty, I'll get our son back."
Dex grunts as he is flown back into his kitchen island. Goddamn he is lucky has an adimantium spine ir that would have killed him. He holds one of the spare towels in arms reach to his bleeding stomach.
"Thanks for sending the empty suits after me; now I don’t have to worry about electrocuting Matt." Norman activated the suit's electric current, trying to fry the blue armour's circuitry. He used his free arm to strike the armour as hard as he could, dislodging it from his body.
Norman threw his bag toward Dex. "Dex, if you’re still alive, grab some grenades from my bag and throw them!"
"By the way, Stark, you might want to duck," Norman grinned from behind his helmet. "I still have the glider, and it’s homing in on you! Have fun dodging that!"
Just as he finished speaking, the Golden Glider flew straight toward Tony, its rapidly accelerating engines announcing the incoming aerial threat.

The blue suit stopped moving after it was fried, falling down to the ground with a metallic clang.
With the grey suits hole in the ceiling now finished, it collapsed ontop of them, bringing the entirety of the floor above them down. "And you have fun dodging that."
Tony held his Matty close as he flew back towards his tower. A compartment in his armor opened from his shoulders, missile launchers to counter the incoming glider. "But before that, I'll get you home safe and sound." The suit fired the missiles at the glider.
Dex growls again and ignores the grenades, Matt was tol close to Tony now for those anyway. Despite his injury, he lunges forward and latches onto Tony, prying matt away from him and holding him close instead, baring his sharp teeth at Tony.
"Shit, I still need that," Norman mutters as he presses the buttons on his wrist to redirect the glider away from the incoming missiles. The glider swiftly changes course, narrowly avoiding the projectiles heading toward it. "I should have summoned the fleet…"
A rumbling sound comes from above, and Norman looks up to see that the second suit of armour has finished making a hole.
"Shit." He quickly grabs his bag before making his exit. They couldn’t afford an explosion on top of everything else. Using his enhanced speed, strength, and reflexes, he leaps out of the nearest window, activating the glider to hover beneath him as he exits.
Once he lands on the glider, he uses his foot to summon energy grenades, preparing to throw them at anything he sees as a threat. He quickly surveys the scene: Dex and Tony are locked in a fight over Matt, and the gray armour remains unaccounted for. "Psychopath versus sociopath, great," Norman mutters to himself. "Priorities: disarm the gray suit, stop Tony, save Matt."

▪︎ His fingers trail down Tony's chestplate. He grabs the arc reactor and rips it out of place, as soon as Dex pulls him away, he rears his arm back, throwing the reactor back into the pile of rubble that was Dex's apartment.
Dex runs over to the edge of the building to get closer to Norman.
"How much weight can that board hold?!"
He has to yell, but it is obviously causing him pain, the wound on his chest already having bled through his shirt so it is getting on Matt's clothes a bit.
"I can carry both of you, get on now!" Norman flies to hiver parallel to the building, they can get on, "Hold on tight, do not let go of me, or I can carry you both, but if I carry you then I can't fight."
Tony looked down at the gaping hole in his chest, the sting of betrayal hurt more than the pain that followed. The delay it brought lasted enough time for him to plan and execute.
"What have they done to my Matty?" He asked, voice twinged with worry. "One minute he's in bed with me, the next he's ripping my heart out. If I wanted the emotional roller-coaster I would have dated Vivian Green."
He took a deep breath, "That's okay," His arc reactor laid in the rubble, picked up by the cold and lifeless hand of the silver armor, and delivered back to him. "I can fix him. I will fix him."
"I just need to take that damn glider down." He took the arc reactor, blew on it, and shoved it back in place. His suit rebooted, coming back to life in mere moments. "There's a power source in the glider somewhere. Find it, blow it up, catch Matty on the way down. I need to do some repairs to him anyways. As long as he's still breathing, I can fix him."
Wednesday was already hard at work, carrying out his orders. "Power Source located."
"How's our energy output, bet I could one-shot it." He smiled, seeing the schematics for the glider pop up, he directed power to the arc reactor, charging up energy.
"Energy output 98%."
"Not bad. Let's bring theirs to zero, silver tin can, be ready to catch my Matty." He fired at the power supply of the glider, light streaked towards the trio getting away from him.

"Great, this is what I was worried about," Norman mutters as he watches the unmanned suit throw the arc reactor back to Tony.
He taps a button on his wrist to summon drones, checking the heads-up display (HUD) in his suit, which indicates they should arrive within a few minutes. "Dammit, I should have called them beforehand, but I need backup now. Matt, Dex, the drones are on their way, but it will take time. I’m sorry. Better late than never, but I was hoping to avoid outdoor aerial combat."
Norman notices the incoming blast a moment too late and curses under his breath. "Sorry, everyone… we're going to crash, but I need to take out that damn armor before we go down. I hope you're ready for what's coming, because this is going to be close."
Norman throws energy grenades at the silver armour, blasting it with the energy from his suit. He fights to disable the other suit before he is incapacitated.
"Matt, Dex, I need you both to hold on. I can survive a fall from this height; it will shatter several of my bones, but they should heal within a minute at most. You can both use me to breaka your faall. Unfortunately, I can't perform my usual evasive maneuvers with both of you clinging to me, but I’m going to try to fight Tony off. If that doesn't work…"
Norman points to a nearby laundromat. "There’s a Goblin nest behind the third dryer on the left side. It has a fully stocked arsenal and a spare glider. It’s not ideal to use that gear, but we’re running out of options. Open it up by pushing the coin slot three times and arm yourselves. Can you do that?"

A short while later, Iron Man's red suit in all of it's glory arrives. "Hiya, Matty." It lands in front of him, the visor rescinding, the suit is empty. "Ready to go?"
"Except to your baby shower." He corrects, the suit wraps around Matty and carries him out the window, leaving the fork Matt had grabbed behind, and taking him back to Stark Tower.
Inside of the tower is a set up of balloons, sparkling water, red velvet cake covered in white and blue frosting, a mountain of gifts, and one Tony Stark, sitting at the fully stocked bar.
"Cancel that order, Wednesday." Tony gets up from his chair, "Matthew, hear me out. Five minutes and if you still want to leave, i'll let you go."
He walks over to Matt, resting a hand on his shoulder, "I need someone to take over everything when I'm gone. I tried to prolong my life. And the symbiote pushed everyone I had away. I'm alone. I'm desperate. And I'm dying."
"That baby isn't mine, but it could be. You wouldn't have to spend a dime on taking care of 'em. All that stress of figuring out what to do could be gone in an instant. For both of us. All you have to do is just tell the world it's mine."
"We're doing this the hard way then..." Tony sighs, Matthew's stubborn streak was always a pain in his ass, "Wednesday, lock down the tower. No one gets in or out. Jam the signals, too."
"Initiating lock down mode!"
"Matthew, I've pleaded my case to you. Let you know how things have been on my end of things. And now, I'm going to tell you what's about to happen." The suit wrapped around his hand as he continued, sheets of metal came down in front of the windows. "I'm taking the kid, that's a done deal. After that you'll forget about ever having it to begin with. The last few days will be like a bad dream. You'll wake up in your shitty apartment, have another scar to add to your collection and you'll continue with your life."
Tony hears movement from the next room over. Before he can even tell Wednesday to lock down the door, Dexy walls through almost calmly and a small dagger is thrown, stabbing Tony in the leg.
Tony hissed in pain when the dagger pierced his leg, his eyes darted around the room, his Matty hadn't done that. "Wednesday, who else is here?"
"Running data through facial recognition software."
He took in a deep breath and tapped his wristband, allowing the previously discarded armor to wrap around he rest of his body, while he yanked the knife out of his leg. "Fuck it, we're killing this guy. Assuming they've been here the whole time, they know too much."
"Cheater?" He laughed as Dex's info popped up onto the corner of his visors screen, Wednesday reading it to him. "What are you five?"
"You broke into my home. Big mistake on your part." He replied, as the aim assist locked into Dexy's head, he fired a blast of his repulsor, blue light streaked across the room. "No one's going to come looking for you here."
There was a hiss, followed by an electrical pop as the bullet pierced through one of the armor's platelets. A wire popped out of place as sparks flew, and rendered one of his legs immobile.
"Left leg mechanical failure."
"Redirect power to the missile canon." He ordered without missing a beat, an electrical humming filled the room as the missile launchers opened at his wrists.
This shot lands right in the main circuitry of the armor, this time around air escapes from the opening just before a flash of light follows it, the smell of smoke fills the room.
"Operating systems, catastrophic failure—"
The lights on the suit dim completely as he falls down, hitting the floor hard.
Dexy is quick to grab Matt's arm and pull him away. He hurries to the front door and groans in annoyance when it is locked down. He sees the tablet next to the door and fiddles with it, trying to peace ttogether how to open the door.
The tablet has facial recognition software and a fingerprint biometric scanner attached to it, but is otherwise connected to the whole tower. It flickers to life after being picked up.
"Authorized user detected: Welcome home, Matthew Murdock."
"I'll get all of us home safe. Well, my home. Stark would just go back to get you of we went back to your home."
He starts driving, he giggles a little at Matt holding him, Matt can definitely hear his heart rate is fast, from both the previous fight and probably also from having physical contact with Matt.
▪︎ He holds onto Dex with one hand, while the other searches for the phone he left at his place. He comes up empty and wraps his other hand around Dex again.
Dex unlocks his door and opens it, letting Matt step inside first. Even before he unlocked the door, Matt could smell all the cleaner practically baked into the floor of the place.
Dex isn't dumb. He is putting two and two together.
"Shit! Right! Towel. On it."
Dex rushes to his bathroom, almost tripping over his feet uncharacteristically as he does, he comes back witha few towels moments later. Laying 2 down and rolling one.
"this last one. It's for, your head, or your back, or wherever you need it. What next?"
Dex is a little frazzled, but follows what Matt asks. He fills up bucket in the sink while grabbing more towels and go ong them to matt, then he puts on the gloves.
"Beer will have to be later. I don't own alcohol. I barely drink because I don't want my senses impared."
▪︎ Matt winces again, fingers grasping the edge of the blanket, he's been having contractions for the last hour, which have now been getting closer together.
"Look. If i took him back to his house, Tony would of checked there first! Just wanted him to be safe, I didn't know he was about to give birth! I'm trying to help, and I have the most precise hands. So I just need to be told how to do this and I will be able to."
"That's... that's not how birth works, is it, Von? He's thinking of surgery..." Norman removes his helmet. "I regret dressing for a fight, so much right now... Well, there are the warm towels and the water... anything else? Beer? What do we need beer for?
@verygoodlawyer @ravonna-lexus-renslayer
"oh thank god!" she opens a time door for him and all he sees is an arm pulling him through before he sees a man on a table giving birth "I don't know what to do..."
“Alright, gloves. Dex, where do you keep those? I can't believe I'm asking for help from Bullseye…”
Norman pauses, rolling his eyes as the door opens for Tony. “Oh great, the psychopath is here… If he acts up, I'm going to restrain him.”
Dex runs to grab gloves and towels and blanket. He hands them off quickly when he sees Tony though and pulls out a knife. He actually, litterly growls.
Tony steps through the portal, his eyes immediately land on his Matty. He smiles behind his mask, already running diagnostics on him, checking his heart rate and blood pressure as well as that of their child coming out of him. "Do any of you actually know what you're doing? Or is this a fools quest to see how long he can last without proper medical care? Wednesday, have one of the tin cans bring an epidural. He's going to need it."
"And you," He finally looks over at Dex, voice layered with hatred. "Should be ashamed of yourself, stealing my Matty away from me. I'll deal with you later."
In an instant he flies over the man and lands next to Matty, the suit withdraws enough to reveal his hand. He takes Matty's hand in his and holds onto it tightly, "You're already halfway there, baby. You're going to need to start pushing, gravity will do the rest, deep breaths now. You need to time it right, lucky for you my name is long enough for you to use it. You're welcome."
"Deep breath at To-ny, you can split it into two syllables, perfectly symmetrical. Exhale at Stark, you say that all at once, that's when you push. Ready, Matty?"
"To-ny Stark."

What next?"
