So, I want to start writing for max but I've seen a lot of people arguing that writing fanfic about real people is morally/ethically wrong because you don't have their consent and a part of me can't help but agree with this.

I'm actually currently writing a fic, it's not finished yet so I haven't posted it but I put boundaries for myself like no smut (I allow myself to write suggestive content but nothing explicit), I don't include his family although I might mention them except for kelly and the girls. Also, while I do want to write him as we know him to be(celebrity/f1 driver) , some of my ideas are AUs so I guess that makes him merely a face claim.

Yet, I still feel weird because the risk of him or his friends/family coming across fanfics of max cannot be put aside. Although, I doubt that max even knows what fanfiction is but kelly seems chronically online and p and his daughter are gonna grow up with social media so we can never be sure and I can't even imagine the possible trauma of reading a fanfic about yourself or your step-dad/dad/partner.

Anyway, have you ever struggled with that when writing for drivers/real celebrities and if so, how do you find a balance? What's your opinion about all this?

Oh, I know right 😩😩—another idea struck me today, actually: Piastri! figure skater! reader x hockey player Lando… the typical annoying brother’s teammate 😩 (reader is, of course, totally off-limits because she’s the captain’s (Oscar’s) sister!!)

so basically it’s childhood rivals to lovers where they grew up beefing basically because hockey players always hate how figure skaters leave the ice because of their skates. so they’ve just been beefing since they were like 7 (lando not really he just didn’t know what he was feeling was actually attraction so he was just mean)

then end up playing/skating at the same uni, so the beef continues. and a way it can be angsty is reader is late at the rink practicing and hurts her ankle maybe coming down from a jump wrong and lando is there (why idk?? maybe he likes to study there because it’s quieter) and he helps her takes her to the medic clinic and idk you can take it from here !!

is may be too similar to across the court but idk this is what i came up with 😭😭💚
