I hate how Veronica Mars does Weevil so dirty. Like he just wants to survive and support the people he loves. He did what he had to do for so long and then he makes it out of the gang, he gets a job that he’s good at and doesn’t hate doing. He has a WIFE and DAUGHTER, he has a FAMILY and then VERONICA pulls him back into gang life to help with his case.

Not to mention the amount of times Veronica accuses him of awful crimes, like calm down girl your racism is showing. The amount of times he’s helped her and done her favors and she still turns on him the second there’s even a hint of a lead that might point to him. She helps Logan when he’s accused of murder 3 TIMES. THREE. She flies across the country to clear his name but she won’t even consider that Weevil might not know anything about the bombings.

Very unpopular opinion, but I think Veronica Mars would be a great show to make nowadays. Not a reboot, not a reimagining, but like LITERALLY created nowadays, because it's clear they had a very specific vision for the first season with a beginning, middle and ending, defined characters and situations, all that. They'd get ten to fourteen, if they're LUCKY, episodes, they'd run the Lilly Kane case situation until the end and they wouldn't suffer of the whole "we NEED the show to be picked up, so we NEED to make a cliffhanger episode, we NEED to make sure everyone will come back to see it" thing that the early 00s had running RAMPANT. They'd end the story with Logan and Veronica together, his dad in prison, and Veronica's fate now uncertain with all the trauma and everything. That pool scene? Perfect ending. I really wish we had a full, enclosed, finished story for the first season, the greatest season this show has.
