Reylai Alaeis the Werewolf Art Doll

A custom commission of a client’s original character. Fully poseable with a steel ball-and-socket armature in the body and wings. The feathers are individually wired for poseability as well, and the ears can pivot on a ball socket. The jaw is also on a ball and socket joint so it can open and close. She’s enormous, standing 38cm (15″) tall, and her wingspan is roughly 95cm (37″) wide. She’s made from faux fur, which as been airbrushed and styled, and hand cut EVA foam feathers. Her head and paws are cast resin, painted with acrylics.

A custom commission of a client’s original character. Fully poseable with a plastic ball jointed armature in the body and wired wings and feathers. The jaw is also on a ball and socked joint so it can open and close. He is 100cm from nose to tail.

Harry the Triceratops - Early Man (2018)

One of the best and biggest projects I got to work on at Aardman Animations. This was for Nick Park’s stop-motion feature Early Man, which I worked on as a trainee model maker and sculptor. I had 10 weeks to complete this puppet from start to finish. I sculpted, moulded, cast, assembled, and painted this entire puppet (the armature was made by another crew member). Harry is pretty much solid silicone, completely articulate, and is totally free standing. He was painted with Psycho Paint silicone paint. This is definitely one of my favourite pieces that I have personally done!

Little Silver Koi

This was done for a custom show at work I put on. The brief was to use a bottle cap in any way, shape or form. I decided to use it as a base, and sculpted a tiny fish to go on top. Sculpted in Monster Clay, cold cast with aluminum powder and finished with Stovax. The fins are aluminum foil.
