“  i have to admit i’m pretty excited.  the astronomy club is having a viewing party and i know it’s kinda stupid,  but i think i’m gonna attempt to make a wish.  i don’t even know if it’ll come true in all honesty.  it’s not like i have a family grimoire with me or anything.  ”

    tiberius had already realized he overshared when talking about his pet, but it was something he couldn’t help since he really loved the animal and sometimes gets lost in his thoughts when talking about her. that was one of the reasons why he didn’t like to have conversations with others. he didn’t even know why he was talking to that girl since he really wasn’t friends with her and had no intention on trying to develop such friendship.  “yes. from my uncle.”  he said, simply, not going further into the subject. part of his family had members who were dedicated carers so it was normal for them to have some exotic magical creatures roaming around in the house of on their backyard, it was only this uncle, however, who was experienced enough to care for larger creatures such as griffins and hippogriffs, maybe even baby dragons - before they were actually dangerous anyways.  “how about your cat?”
