“i’m leaving” ilya says as he gets up and bood asks “already?” and ilya’s like “yes, shane asked me to leave early” and troy says “you know no one here believe that right?” and ilya goes “but is true, he asked me” and bood’s like “man, we all know you’re the clingy one, just say you want to go home to your husband no one will judge you” and ilya goes again “im telling the truth, shane asked me” and troy says “we all know shane, man, you asked to come and he probably just said “okay” with that little smile he does” and ilya again “i’m telling the truth why no one believes me?”. then cuts to an oblivious shane dancing with anya in the kitchen.

ilya and shane are hosting at their home for the first time after the wedding. this was always a dream for them, being together around all of their friends. at some point in the night they disappear after shane says he’s going to grab something from the pantry and ilya follows him not long after. their friends start discussing “they’re definitely fucking in there” one of the wags says and hayden tries to defend his friend “shane and ilya have never done anything like that around other people” and harris goes “but they’re at their house and it’s gigantic here, no one will hear them wherever they are” and wyatt goes “who wants to bet they’re fucking?” and everyone agrees to the bet but it’s 50/50, half of them agreeing with hayden and saying they’d never do something like that with people around and the other half saying they’re freaks. so everyone picks luca haas to go look for them because if ilya and shane catch him they won’t be mad at the rookie. luca goes looking for them and when he approaches the pantry he hears ilya’s exasperated voice going “no shane, listen, you want to know what she said to me? the audacity...” and luca stops going further and just turns around and goes back to the rest of the group and says “they’re just gossiping, i think they lost track of time” and half of them groan while hayden cheers going “i told you guys”. sometimes shane needs to step back to recharge his social battery and ilya goes with him to keep him company because even when he’s overwhelmed, shane still wants ilya there with him.
