I blocked someone after I helped her move to Paris with her cats lol because I didn't like how she talked to me and how she went on a date 3 days after moving there (insane. so much for decentering men! No place to live but ready to meet guys off tinder. This person would try to give me dating advice unprompted and I had to tell her to stop bc it was annoying) and told me he had disparaging things to say about Muslim people as a whole and xenophobic bullshit. And her plans to go on another date with him because he has money and a car. And she was embarrassed to quote him inside a crowded restaurant. Girl....

I don't wanna disappear completely but I am comfortable with cutting off ppl who don't deserve my energy. I gave my best friend from highschool 8 years of silent treatment once lol like I can laugh about it now bc it sounds so petty but I was prepared to just not see him again before he apologized. And when he finally approached me to, we were able to move past it .... Idk I just need accountability in my friendships and it's a 2 way street obvi. I have less and less patience as I get older tho u would think it would be the opposite but I can't tolerate shitty energy or disrespect anymore. Time is so precious and I can't waste it on ppl who don't make me feel good and add love to my life like wtf else would be the point
