Okay but FOR REAL:
I care about animals...a lot. It is my main reason for being vegan, along with environmental and health reasons. HOWEVER I have informed and educated more people than I ever would have if I had not been as open minded as I have been. It is a cold hard fact that by being a little lenient towards other people at first, you are more likely to spark their interest in learning more and possibly joining you. It doesn't mean I don't care if other people eat meat. But it does mean that despite my personal feelings, I know the best way to interact with others, and that is to not be "pushy or militant". Just sayin...if you care about making the people around you vegan, the best way is to simply be a happy vegan around them. Please don't let your emotions control you, because you will honestly drive people away from the idea, possibly forever. Please just think about it.
