—Stephen Dunn, Poetry, February 2003 Today’s the birthday of poet Stephen Dunn, whose biography at poetryfoundation.org states: “Dunn’s poetry reflects the social, cultural, psychological, and philosophical territory of the American middle class; his intelligent, lyrical poems narrate the regular episodes of an everyman speaker’s growth, both as an individual and as part of a married—and later divorced—couple.”

On June 24, 1973, America’s largest LGBT massacre took place as 32 people lost their lives in a devastating New Orleans arson.

Charlie meets the “little tramp”. I circa 1918. Is this doll cute or what..can you imagine the worth of that doll today?  I love the little bubble butt it has, though chunkier that “the tramp” everything else is just perfect from the clothes, cane, derby and small hands.
