I’ve been advocating for the big starfire hair for so long it just fits her so well<3 I love your art for the ya reboot and was curious if in the reboot you are going with the utopian origin or the retcon for her story? I personally like the utopian origin because it adds more angst lol.

I know I’m in the minority here I KNOW everyone likes the utopian origin better but I actually think the retcon is so interesting I fear 😭😭 not because of the actual plot or anything it’s a little bit nothingburger but like because of the affect it has on America man. the doubt it introduces into her mind. the way it warps all of her memories all her belief and leaves her stumbling. what if you were a girl from a heaven trying to bring that heaven to other worlds because other people deserved to live in the happiness you remembered and then it’s all gone. and then it’s just a lie. and then you’re just a girl who was hurt and made up a fairytale. and then the very thing you built yourself around, the very reason you are a hero, is nothing. like idk it’s just SO interesting to me especially with Meri in particular like her as a character to do that to her who is so determined and strong and sure of herself and to just undercut that AUGH just!! the potential!!

also the initial arc of my reboot revolves heavily around medical torture and child experimentation and I think it is fun yay yippie to give her Issues with that☝️yeah
