★ 296 // “Anime Expo 2026 Steel Ball Run Booth”

With the massive hype of the anime returning in the fall, Steel Ball Run had a very big presence during Anime Expo 2026. Right at the front of the South Hall lobby, you were greeted by this spectacular booth right as you walked in the main entrance. The footage shown was taken on Wednesday July 1st, Day 0 of the convention, before it was open to the public. I was tabling at AX in the artist alley, so I had permission to be inside. Since few people were allowed in, I was fortunate to get some very clean shots of the display. Here's a video walkaround of the booth:

As you may have noticed, the display TV was not on in the footage I recorded, but when it was on during show hours, it varied in content. On Thursday and Friday, it showed footage from episode 1, and would sometimes advertise the Warner Brothers panel taking place on Saturday. From Saturday onward, it showed footage from the newly released Stage 2-3 trailer. The booth did evolve in other ways as the weekend went on. After the Steel Ball Run panel and its subsequent announcements on Friday July 3rd, the booth did change up some details. The "JOJO IS BACK." panel was changed to "JOJO FRIDAY IS BACK. 09.25.2026". The "GOAL" banner above the standees was replaced with "RETURNS 09/25".

★ Booth Freebies

Attendees could get their picture taken in front of the standees by a staff member, then afterwards could claim a few free goodies. These freebies included:

★ Johnny Joestar head band (obtained by following the @jojotheanimation Instagram account and showing proof of follow)

★ Steel Ball Run JoJo Friday newspaper poster (Became available after 4PM on 07/03. Handed out for free, either by staff members surrounding the booth, or when you went to claim the other prizes at the counter)

★ JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Spirit prize bundle (Obtained by pre-registering for the Golden Spirit mobile game and showing proof. Prize pack includes a fold out pamphlet, postcard, and a random holographic bookmark featuring part 1-6 protagonists. I ended up with three copies of these prize packs and got Josuke, Giorno, and Jolyne as bookmarks)
