i asked him if he really didn’t give a fuck about an oxford comma, because i find it quite useful. he said it’s not that he’s completely against the oxford comma, he just thinks it’s unnecessary, and in the instances where it would be confusing if the sentence didn’t have the oxford comma, then to use it. he also said jokingly “but that song is so old, i’m over it”
