“Figures you’d like a man in a collar-” a sinister grin playfully grew on Eric’s features as he turned on his heels. He walked towards the chair, sitting down. Instead, he chose to ignore her words. “Care to keep me company for a while? Maybe we could get to know each other better, roomie.”

       “Yeah — no kidding .  .  . I mean no offense.” He wasn’t looking to make enemies of the fae, no matter how removed they may have been. They were a folk his brother thought lightly of, but Sam was the one who had read every book in Bobby’s home and knew better than to belittle them (or just run into them at all really, there were more than enough horror stories about fae circles and missing persons). “If it means anything to you, it was kinda’ a one time deal. We haven’t run into any more lately, or at least any more causing enough trouble to get on our radar.”

    well, that was easy enough, “ i expected a little more fight, ” michael admits head tilted in slight confusion. obviously, he’s glad she’s not really fighting him on it. she’s taken care of him more times than he knows to remember and he’s the one with healing abilities. “ as for being nice, i’d say it’s something i’ve acquired over the years. ” he’s as much of a loner as he was in his younger years, but probably not as abrasive. except when angered. the hybrid walks over to the medicine cabinet to grab some bandages, quickly returning to sookie and sitting next to her, “  and i don’t treat any woman in any way i wouldn’t treat my mother. ”

The count turned around in his seat so that he could face the woman face on, bringing up a charming yet devilish grin “Then I would rather enjoy it if you showed me what you love about this sorry little town. Perhaps I have become too materialistic in this modern world, filled with all its little gadgets and sciences, that I have forgotten the little things.” He kept his gaze on her, seeing how she really did seem to ease down after his touch. Was she finding his touch & presence a comfort? Perhaps the girl really did have a thing for vampires. He watched the bar as she left, he knew that others could tell he was undead, but the way that some looked at her had questions brewing in his mind. When she arrived back, he held a dark gaze on a larger set man with a trucker hat. At her question he barely tore his eyes away from her “Yes,” he voice was heavy & growling “May I kill that man? He hasn’t taken his gaze off you the entire night. He’s suspicious.”

               ❝ Not all of it has to do with showing you what I love about Bon Temps. There’s a lot of good memories I have here. ❞  That might have been the thing that she loved most about the town she grew up in. Even if there were things she’d rather forget, even from childhood, there was still a lot of good that she clung to. There were the best memories she ever had about her Gran, the strong woman who was more like a mother to her than her own. There were fairs that came around during the summer that Jason took her and Tara to where they ran around and had fun. She’d had her first kiss with Bill, her first real relationship with any man. She had Tara to defend her when anyone ever looked at her wrong and found out what a sisterhood meant.  ❝ I guess I can show you some places that I like if you really want. ❞  

Dracula’s body snaked forward as he leaned forward to listen to the girls verdict on his choice of facts & fiction. Of course, the Count managed to keep a straight face, a poker face as humans like to call it, as she spoke. His lips pursed, and eyes shifted & narrowed to look past her head as he sat & thought the predictions over. Once finished, he folded his hands together on the table & looked to her once more “My name is Omor Dracula. Vlad Tepes was my most trusted friend.” He gave a fainted smile as the memories sprang back up but not for long “Would you want to inherit the mindset & personality of an airheaded redneck? I assume not.” He chuckled, showing off his many teeth “I’m afraid I did kill my father. Hunting accident.” He slid back into his own seat, eyes dancing around the blonde before him “Are we playing again? Its frustrating to not be able sample your blood and know nothing about you.” He purred, eyeing up the thin blue vein on her tanned skin neck. “Do you enjoy being a mystery, Sookie Stackhouse?”

               ❝ Omor Dracula, ❞  she repeated his name out loud, letting it roll off of her tongue with ease. She should have figured that he would try and trip her up by revealing a name that wasn’t his own just to see if she’d bite. A play on words was easy enough with this game. She could end up telling him that her mom had been the decision-maker in killing her when it was really her dad. Sookie wasn’t sure if she was ready to drudge that little bit of history up though. This was supposed to be a fun game, not a depressing one.  ❝ Were you still friends with him after you became a vampire? ❞  She only asked because, aside from herself, it wasn’t hard to see that he didn’t really make friends easily.
