i. how the method came to be
my method was created not by analyzing my intentional successful shifts, but my accidental successful shifts. both are valuable to me, of course, but the answers i was seeking lie in shifts where not even intention was part of the equation that caused them. where they took no more effort than the tiny, unremarkable shifts that occur in our day-to-day lives, but broke the continuity that allows each of those infinite tiny shifts to appear as one fluid experience. where i became aware of such a vastly different ego, and as a result, a vastly different physical experience; all without intention, without a method, without expectation !!!!!!! using those as the foundation for my method was my own “key”: disconnect from one reality, attach to another. blur the line between them instead of trying to claw my way past it.
ii. the method itself
step one: relax and start the disconnection process
i prefer doing this method in bed before going to sleep. i like the idea of not having any commitments or distractions to worry about. it allows me to fully immerse myself in what i’m doing without worrying about running out of time. time isn't even real. but whatever. you can do this any time you want. get in a comfortable position and close your eyes. let yourself relax. there are a few things you could do to guide your awareness away from this reality. i choose to daydream. it doesn’t matter what about, but i typically choose my dr (in the times i accidentally shifted, it was as a result of daydreaming. more on this later). this step only needs to be very brief as the next will cause you to disconnect further. if you have trouble with guiding awareness away from the physical, then use that to your advantage. use a sensory constant of some sort to bridge the perceived "gap" between your cr and dr. play auditory ambiance that your dr self would hear in the moment that you’re shifting to. wear a perfume that your dr self would wear. if your dr self is laying in bed in the moment that you’re shifting to, lay in bed. if they’re sitting in a chair, shift from a chair. this sensory constant acts as an anchor for your awareness. but it's not required. do whatever you want
step two: introduce contextual familiarity
retrace the steps of your dr self leading up to the moment you’re shifting to. remember that there is no difference between memories from this reality and whatever you decide are memories in your dr. the past is malleable because it technically doesn't exist. it's a concept, just like everything relating to time. shifting transcends it. for example, if you’re shifting to a moment where you’re laying in bed to sleep after going out with your friends, chronologically follow the steps you took throughout your day. it doesn’t have to be a detailed, 24-hour deep-dive, but a general overview of the events. gradually introduce the use of the five senses as you get more comfortable. the smell of the perfume you were wearing, the taste of the drinks you had, the sound of the music playing there, the feeling of hugging your friends. these would be the memories most fresh on your mind at the end of the day. it’s the same as retrospectively thinking about your day in your cr (and who's to say these aren't your memories from earlier today??? they literally are. you're your dr self. these are your dr self's memories). this stage is the closest to what i would describe as a transition process, but it’s still part of the shift of awareness. it feels much more natural to me than suddenly declaring “okay, i’m in my dr now.” it’s a full mindset shift rather than just throwing out affirmations and waiting for the world around me to play catch up. it's allowing yourself to just drift into your dr rather than jumping right into cold water and hastily trying to burn the ships. you may not notice the moment it happens, but at a certain point you'll stop being an outsider looking in on another reality, but instead recognizing it as your own.
step three: enter the present moment. you're your dr self, and your dr self is there
you’re familiar with the day you’ve had, you’ve reminisced long enough, now you’re your dr self in the moment you intend to be in. how would they think? embody them. think about their plans, feel the emotions that they would feel, simply be them. don’t force this. just allow whatever comes to mind to be. things like, “i should see if [friend] wants to hang out tomorrow,” “i had so much fun doing [thing in my dr] today,” or “i need to remember to do [thing in my dr] later.” when i accidentally shifted, i was placing myself in the shoes of my dr self, albeit just to fantasize. i got caught up in my daydreams, and my mindset became that of the ego i was fantasizing about. and before i knew it, i was kissing my s/o. IMAGINE THAT. and not in a shockingly vivid daydream. it was as real as real could possibly get. unmistakable. i let go of one ego and allowed myself to become the other.
tldr because the paragraphs make it seem a lot more extensive than it actually is: relax > reminisce on your dr self's day as your dr self. use the 5 senses to become more in touch with your dr and "flesh it out" so to speak > think as your dr self. accept that you are them. it's done, so let it be
iii. additional advice on executing the method (and every other method)
the method is not your pink slip of dismissal from this reality. you’re not waiting for permission from the method to shift. you’re not building up momentum that eventually pushes you past the threshold and into your dr. exertion of force is not what causes the shift. you’re the one doing the method. you’re the one that holds the power. the method is just an avenue for you to exercise it. it’s a guide. don’t approach the method waiting for outside confirmation that you’re doing everything perfectly. instead approach it with the knowledge that the start of it was already its completion. drop expectation and let the method be. drop what you’ve been told about shifting being the same as ordering a package and waiting for it to arrive. there’s only a process if you decide that there is. there is no placing the order, waiting for it to be packaged, tracking its delivery, waiting for the knock on your door. why? because shifting is not amazon (i hate you jeff bezos). it’s in your hands the second you decide that it is. stepping into the mind of your dr self, therefore becoming aware of your dr self, is the shift. it’s done. instant. everything else is just you existing in the reality you choose to. the physical is shaped by your assumptions, so don’t let your assumptions be shaped by physical observation. don’t trap yourself in that loop. let go. that's when the shift happens. i didn't feel anything lock into place when i shifted. my dr crept up on me, and i was too busy already being my dr self to notice. because that ego, body, mind, identity, whatever, wasn't asking for permission from her surroundings to be where she already was. she was just there.
iv. don't bean soup the method
"but sodapop, i don't like doing xyz!" "but sodapop, in my dr, it would make more sense for me to do xyz!" "but sodapop, i'm actually more comfortable when i do xyz!"
you don't have to do every step in the sodapop method. i centered it around myself and my own experiences (hence the name). your shifting journey is, ideally, centered around your own. if you like strawberries and hate blueberries, you don't have to make blueberry muffins just because a random baker on the internet posts about how much they love making blueberry muffins. make them with strawberries. it's not all or nothing. take what resonates and modify the rest to your liking. there are literally no wrong answers, and your ability to shift isn't graded on accuracy & strict adherence to some random blogger's method.
You don't owe anyone anything. You don't have to stay in this reality, don't have to be all peace and love and you definitely don't have to compromise. You can and should have whatever you want because it is your reality

Hello! Sorry for the wait :)
I'm going to try and keep it really simple here, just to not overwhelm you.
As you probably know, shifting is the process of becoming aware of another reality. You don't stop existing here, you don't disappear, you're not sleeping either. You just keep living like you normally would, except you're not aware of it.
Time is not linear like you experience it in this reality, which means that one day here doesn't have to mean one day in another reality. In fact, you can intend one second here to be one year in your dr (desired reality), or you can skip time here, go back into the past, anything!
The most important thing to remember is that everything and anything is possible. An infinite amount of realities exist, so any place, any possibility, no matter how ''weird'' or ''out there,'' it's perfectly normal somewhere else! You can be anywhere, be anyone, be with anyone, you can change people, or keep them the exact same. You're not creating other realities, just choosing out of infinite options where you want to go to.
You might know about manifestations, and you have definitely manifested in your life, whether on accident or purpose! Manifesting = shifting. The only difference is that manifesting usually sticks to the concept of this reality, same people, same world, so people see it as attracting something in their life, rather than going to a reality where you have something you didn't have before!
So how do you shift? This is the tricky part, because there's no real answer to it. You can shift in ANY way, and I truly mean that. Just like with manifesting, you shift a ton of times every day, without even realising it! And that's because it's natural, it's the one thing you can always do. So it's less about what you do to shift, but more about your intention and desires. Some people like affirming, meditating, they shift through dreams, or methods. Other people just roll over and call it a day, or shift completely awake! There is not one set way to do it, and you can really make up your own methods for it!
But the baseline for most people, is that they think of a place where they want to go to, and sometimes they make a script for it. Which basically just means you write down details about your dr to pretty much solidify for yourself where exactly you want to go. They focus on that place, either by affirming they will shift there, daydreaming, repeating details about it in their head, etc.
Some people experience something called ''symptoms,'' but this is not necessary to shift at all. This could be something related to your senses, like hearing something, smelling something, feeling something, seeing something. You don't need it to shift, and it doesn't always mean you are shifting, but it can be an indicator for some people!
There are no rules, nothing you have to do, nothing you have to feel. Even though many people will probably like to tell you that you do. This is your journey, and yours alone, you can shape it exactly how you want to. Do what feels right, when it comes to shifting, make it fun, exciting! It's not about how you do it, it's just about what you want.
For many people, it takes a little bit of time to figure all of this out, but some also grasp it really quickly! Don't get frustrated if it takes you a moment, you have an infinite amount of time. Nothing can ever stop you from shifting, not even death.

When you strip away the quantum buzzwords, shifting is about redefining your sensory data. Right now, your brain is locked onto this reality because its reacting to what your eyes see and what your hands touch. To shift, you have to make your Dr more "real" to your awareness than the room you are currently sitting in.
Pick one specific sensation, just one. Thats the logic between "wr scent" or "script that a song will play when you shift" advices. It could be easy things like lavender, chocolate or your favorite perfume and as for sounds it could be sea waves, phone ringing or like I said , a song.
Force the 3d to match this. As you lie there, tell yourself "the reason I feel this bed under me is because it's my Dr bed." If you hear a car outside, it’s a car outside your Dr house. Youu are reinterpreting your current environment until your brain accepts the new context.
So many of you are done with loa, but usually, that’s because people use it as a magic spell. In reality, its a mental filter. If you wake up and think "dammit, im still here," you have just successfully manifested being here. Wake up and decide "im currently in my dr, but my vision hasn't fully rendered yet. I’m just going about my morning until the 3d catches up." It removes the frantic energy. You arent a seeker anymore, you know this reality is fleeting and temporary.
The biggest irony of shifting is that the more desperate you are to leave, the more you anchor yourself to the reality you’re trying to escape. Desperation is a massive tether to your cr. Think of it like this; if youre trying to fall asleep, and you stare at your eyelids and scream at your brain to SLEEP NOW, you will stay awake all night. Shifting requires that same letting go that falling asleep does.
Youve seen behind the curtain, you know the "one life, then dust" narrative is a scam and once you know that, you can't exactly go back to being a normal person. Treat this reality like a pre rcorded video. If you’re watching a movie and the main character is in jail, you don't panicking thinking you are in jail. You know you're the one sitting in the theater. When you wake up here, look at your walls and think "cute. Nice projection. But I know where I actually am." Do not let the 3d have the final word on your identity.
If you feel anxious version of yourself rising up, check these three things:
- Am I seeking proof? (If yes, you're acting like a mortal, when you're pure awareness and SHOULDN'T hand your power to anyone or anything else.)
- Am I waiting for a shift to happen? (If yes, you're placing the power outside yourself.)
- Am I defining myself by my current surroundings? (If yes, you're letting the 3d tell you youre bounded by this reality's rules instead of the pure awareness).
You need to stop waiting for your desires to “appear”, they are already here!!!
The neurotic mind loves linear time, it tells you that your desire will come in the future, but there’s not a future, there’s not even a past, you only have the NOW, everything that is real happens in the eternal now. Don't assume something will happen tomorrow, experience your desire right now in your imagination. If you imagined it, it already happened.
Remember that the physical world is not an independent entity that goes against you, it is 100% a malleable mirror adapted to your mind. There’s no need to look for proof or signs when you already have what you want.
You are already who you want to be, remember that you only have the now. who are you being now? the person who has everything they want or the person who is still waiting and trying?
⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 𓂃 you’re trying to feel your dr with your cr senses
⠀a lengthy shifting guide
why is it so hard to shift from your cr to your dr but not so much vice versa? you’ve spent the first large chunk of your life believing this reality to be the full extent and foundation of existence. even if you now logically understand this not to be the case, the years spent curating and deepening a mental, emotional, and physical anchor to this reality has warped your perception of reality and instilled in to you the subconscious idea that your cr is the default. and in treating it as the default, the end all be all, and in compromising with it, you reinforce the idea that you are attached or stuck here—that it is even a place to get stuck in in the first place. not only do you trap yourself in this reality and grant it power over you that it does not actually have, you start viewing your cr as the “starting point” too, and shifting as some form of transportation from point A to point B. accompanying this belief is an imagined distance created between your current reality and desired reality. you might’ve already recognised this in yourself; the feeling that your dr is somehow faraway, a place that needs to be travelled to.
it’s important to make and internalise the distinction between a shift in realities as an act of metaphysical travel, and a shift in realities as a shift in focus. imo the former is a much better descriptor for what shifting actually is in essence. i will go into more depth later, but a byproduct of being raised the way you were, growing up knowing nothing but your cr and rooting & centring yourself wholly (confined) within it, is the over identification you end up developing with your cr self. you are not living reality, you are watching it. but after years of the constant unbroken immersion, the two become almost impossible to distinguish. you define yourself by and take on as if they were your own the thoughts and identity and feelings of the “vessel” you are observing, and let them dictate how you experience reality. the lines begin to blur between you; your cr self, and you; your awareness/the observer.
feel your hand. don’t touch it, but notice it’s weight and temperature, or the air around it. now feel the feeler. can you feel yourself? or your body, maybe? now go a step further and feel the one feeling. you probably aren’t fully able to, but this is the observer. “the observer”, or the state of being after breaking the immersion, is you in your natural or purest state. it has also been described as pure awareness, the void state, ego death, sakshi, the self, anatta, and interpreted in different ways across a multitude of different religions and branches of spirituality & philosophy, all used as a means to an end for different things. fyi—i’m not saying you have to completely forsake your cr identity or start ignoring/dismissing your senses or thoughts to shift, just understand that those things don’t define you or your reality. the means to the end here is just getting a point across and hopefully helping improve with the approach you take to shifting. all of this to say, you’re not travelling from point A to point B. point A and B are not places you can (technically) even travel to or exist in, because you’re just watching/observing/being aware of. shifting is not the transportation of a self from one location to another. shifting is simply changing what is focused on/experienced; from one stream of experience to another. a shift in focus.
to summarise, you as in your ego, the you in this cr as you know it, your body, your brain, your thoughts, your identity, don’t actually go or shift anywhere. you, your awareness, in favour of perceiving you, your cr self, the one sat at your computer or phone or whatever reading this right now, starts perceiving a different you/ego/self—one that could have the exact same personality, memories, and thoughts, just in another realty, or one that is a different person entirely. there is only a change or “shift” for the observer, not the cr self or ego. so stop trying to feel your dr with your cr senses. you’re not going to. you’re so immersed in your cr and cr self that you automatically rely on this reality’s bodies’ senses to gauge your success when you try to shift, waiting for your cr self to get a cue that it’s never going to get. the surroundings your cr self feels aren’t going to go anywhere. nor are your senses going to shut off. your cr body will continue to receive sensory information, because that’s what bodies do. so don’t lie there expecting your bedsheets to disappear or magically warp into your dr surroundings or something and feel like you’ve failed when they don’t. shifting is not about somehow willing your surroundings to change or lying in your room forcefully convincing yourself that your senses are feeling something else, it’s about acknowledging what’s beyond those senses. feeling and connecting to what your dr self feels.
if you can still feel your cr, it’s not you feeling it, it’s your cr self. and you are not your cr self.
you can apply this to your thoughts too. your thoughts are no less your cr self’s than your senses are. if you start getting doubts mid attempt or can’t let go of the thought or feeling that you’re not in your dr, remind yourself that you are not your feelings or thoughts or doubts. you are simply observing them. of course your cr self will think that they’re still in their cr, they are. just ignore them and shift your attention elsewhere. your focus and awareness are what dictate what you experience, if you relinquish your focus from your cr and direct it to your dr instead, that’s where you’ll “be”.
obviously there’s no one set way to shift, so if you want you can stop reading here and apply this information to your shifting journey in whatever way suits you. if you’re interested in my method though, here’s the compilation of all this info into practical steps you can actually take to shift.
get comfortable somewhere you won’t be disturbed. close your eyes and focus on what you can see. the light behind your eyelids, shapes, colours, whatever. but instead of automatically interpreting these sensations as belonging to your cr, allow them to become sensory input from your dr. light? that’s coming from the lamp by the xyz in your dr bedroom. or maybe your in a field if that’s a fitting setting for your dr, and it’s the sun shining down on you. shapes? that’s because you’ve been lying down with your eyes closed for a while now, you’re tired after your classes or job or whatever you do in your dr. even if it’s nothing at all, let it be your drs nothing. just feel it. do this for about a minute.
then move onto your body. whether it’s sinking, lightness, tingling, focus on it. and do the exact same as you did for the previous step, interpret it as input coming from your dr. don’t worry if you can still feel your body lying in your bed, because your surroundings aren’t going to change—at least not physically. again, those sensations belong to your cr self, and they don’t prevent awareness from directing itself elsewhere. the goal here is to shift your focus away from them and onto something else, so hyperfocusing on your cr and worrying about your surroundings is counterintuitive. just gently guide your attention back to your dr, really try feel your dr surroundings and what your dr body is currently feeling. if you can’t fully avert your focus away from your cr, that’s fine, at the very least just try receive/tap into the input coming from your dr alongside your cr.
finally focus on what you can hear. if you’ve already managed to make a connection with your dr through your sight and physical senses just build up on what you’ve already got. feel grass tickling your skin? deepen the connection there by focusing on the sound now too, the wind blowing through it. see light behind your eyes? focus on the hum of the lights.
repeat these exercises over and over, deepening the connection with each cycle. if you don’t manage to get anything the first cycle just keep going until you do. it might take some practice. like i mentioned before, after spending so much time here and being in constant attunement with your cr self, the sense that your cr is the default starts to take root and it can be difficult to shake the feeling that you’re just indefinitely “here”. it’s normal for it to take some time to learn how to question this feeling and push past it. since you've never (technically?) been aware of anything outside of this reality, learning how to do so can be a bit like learning how to use a muscle you've never used before.
this method operates on the idea that reality is something that is tuned into through focus & narrowed awareness and not something metaphysically travelled across, so for the most success with it, i’d recommend starting to make a conscious effort to see your dr less like a place and more like a wavelength or channel, a perspective already existing beyond your current focus. shifting to your dr then becomes an effort to notice and receive input from this channel/wavelength, input that already exists out there and that simply needs to be acknowledged. you’re just picking up on what’s already there, feeling something that a version of you already feels.
persist in the belief that reality is observed and flexible. you’re not "stuck" anywhere unless you believe you are.

I affirm only once. I know it’s done, so I don’t worry about it anymore. If my "manifestation"comes to mind, I just think, "Yeah it’s mine," and keep going with my day. I know I have what I want the same way I know my own name.
Things materialize really fast for me, even in the most urgent moments. I know that in the 3d world I might not see it yet, but the moment I affirm it, I already have it. I don’t care how or when it materializes, because it always does.
I have negative thoughts too, and sometimes I felt like giving up everything. But I realized that the more time I spend complaining, the more useless it is. (Hi to my past self who spent months complaining.) I don’t need that anymore. I know it’s already mine.

The very foundation to loa, manifesting, shifting is that we are pure awareness and limitless. So anything against that foundation is FAKE and an illusion.
I got to one layer of realising I’m already in my DR. And that what my 5 senses tell me don’t matter because:
a) they’re not real. They’re not the proof but my intention is the proof of me shifting
b) there exists an illusion of continuity
But you helped me to get to the next layer.
Continuity only becomes an obstacle because one thinks it’s real. It’s not.
And we are limitless beings that we don’t need to “break” continuity. That’s what a limit being thinks — efforts are required to change something.
No we simply know that it’s fake.
