Occasionally I feel the urge to read Julian/Jadzia fic and then remember that vanishingly few people are writing it with the kind of "erotically charged queer friendship" dynamic that I actually want to see

Personally my ideal Julian/Jadzia dynamic is actually akin to Ben's dynamic with Curzon (both as alluded to in the show and as extrapolated by fanon). That is they go on sex adventures together and pick people up together and probably experimented with each other if they're not regularly hooking up, but the main emotional bond soldering their relationship together is not based in romance or coupledom

was at the public pool yesterday and i kept looking around at all the women with fat and rolls and stretch marks and discolouration and cellulite and scars and thighs that bounce and bellies that jiggle and it's like wow. literally Everyone has these features that society is trying to convince us are evil and unnatural. idk it just really put things into perspective for me. highly recommend checking out your local public pool
