the world was spinning after all

I have a bunch of these old-as-hell plant stands from daiso. they’re rusted in a bunch of places and the feet leave rust stains on my patio.

it was a pretty poor experience from the get go.

emails went unanswered for weeks. I’d have to continuously chase things up. incorrect pronouns were used in emails. billing issues came up multiple times. when I flagged issues, they’d copy and paste instructions from the gov disability website, as though I didn’t check the website myself prior to contacting them.

dealbreaker was when I finally booked my first virtual appointment with the support coordinator they matched me with. I was so stressed about it. has an entire therapy session and OT session dedicated to preparing me for it. and.

she forgot to show up. I waited for the entire hour on the zoom meeting. nothing. emailed the team and asked what was going on, but of course they’re rubbish with emails I didn’t hear back until the next day.

and this was when I was only really just trialling them?? it was wild. I was genuinely livid at that point and wasn’t willing to wait around to see if it got better. I disengaged from their services and terminated my service agreement.

I’ve now got an independent support coordinator managing my supports and she’s been amazing. night and day difference.

this past month we’ve been sorting through all the paperwork stuff and I saw the old provider is still listed as my support coordinator on my profile, with all permissions enabled, despite the fact I haven’t used them since 2025.

I tried removing permissions from my end, but the website won’t let me. tried getting my LAC to remove it for me but it’s not working from their end either.

so I contacted the old provider and asked them to see if they could remove it from their end.

the experience was exactly the same as when I tried them last year. no email response for weeks and having to chase it up multiple times. finally got a response today and oh my god, they copy and pasted from the gov website, despite me explaining I already tried all that. they have somehow, incredibly, managed to fucking she/her me in an email??
