well personally I think that the USA's actions towards japan during and after WW2 was genocidal too and it brings home the point that the Western colonial powers also saw asians as subhumans and acted as such even as they fought against Japanese imperialism but apparently seeing the racism in how white ppl acted towards even the Evil Asians (tm) is neonazism

after dropping both of the worst weapons that causes literal generational harm in all of human history upon a people that's never been used in war again: if you talk about this in catastrophic terms that it deserves to be talked about you're one of the worst reactionaries on this planet.

ramen, as we understand the food form, was created because the USA enaged a starvation campaign via control of food supply upon a populace that had already unconditionally surrendered due to the aforementioned weapon but sure there was no state-led policy of killing off the people who had no intention of fighting back.

the only reason you'd defend the USA occupational force's treatment of the Japanese people is if you believe in collective punishment (in it of itself a genocide tactic) but, well, as someone who's not a frothing at their mouth racist, I just do not believe in genocidal justifications for a genocide tactic!

I do feel the need to point out, the US dropped nukes on a country that was already ready to surrender because Japan knew at the time that they couldnt actually fight off both a USSR and US invasion and wanted to surrender to the US becuase they felt it preferable to surrendering to the soviets. And that the target of the US nukes were on purely civilian targets.
