With who Aladdin might end up?
I’m able to love each Aladdin’s pairing - that’s my attachment for that character. I will not be bothered too if he end up as a single - not each protagonist needs a life partner (at least I could have him for yourself, he would be a perfect part of my Aladdin shrine)
For Aladdin there are two, quite real candidates:
As can be seen Aladdin is Hakuei knight on a white horse. Every time when they meet, he rescues her. Of course, our princess is not in debt to him and at their first meeting, she saved him from falling from a horse. They both respect each other, Aladdin limited his boobs fetish, and she followed his advice (even if she acted as she performed Kouen’s command) and decided to help him destroy the medium at Magnostadt, and when the meet again Aladdin rescued her from Arba’s hands. When I saw the scene from the 312 Chapter when Aladdin was romantically holding her in his arms like a princess (cry), I began to imagine them as a couple. Because Aladdin is no longer a child, but a young man, he could be a good candidate for her. As the age gap between them is too big, of course I’m not seeing them together now, at this moment, but in a few years, when Aladdin will be around 20 years old.
Honestly, I never thought about that ship. As Kougyoku always been reserved for someone else, in certain moments even I thought that she’ll end up with Alibaba or even Sinbad, but these options are rather outdated.
Ohtaka hints us this romance in the 315 chapter. This pairing is much more real as Aladdin seems to feel something for our red-haired Empress (but she sees in him only a kid). I’m just not able to tell whether it’s typical for his age, teenage crush, a little fan service for his fans or mangaka really is preparing something bigger.
It’s worth mentioning that their relationship began to be quite turbulent. Kougyoku killed Ugo, Aladdin’s friend, though from her perspective she was saving Judar, a person from her country. However, despite this overall situation, eventually they’re starting to get along with each other in omake. Many people are saying that there’s hidden another hint, just like in the Balbadd omake. Kougyoku is seeing in the water, likely face of her future husband, the right face isn’t shown. Then we have a panel of disgusted Aladdin, who’s looking also at the oracle. What do you think, whom he saw? As we know, Aladdin is kind of womanizer and i think most women would suit him, except for one - Kougyoku.
Given the similarities to SoloShe - initial animosity, the similarity of personality and appearance and chapter 315, AlaKou is a very real option.
It’s difficult to talk about pairing with a character who’s dead. Dunya was one of my favorite characters, with a sad, dark past and she lost her beloved one. Deep down I was hoping that if somehow she survives, she’ll have a chance to stand by Aladdin’s side in the future. After all, they liked to talk to each other, she trusted him. Aladdin get along with most of people, however, i feel that the bond between him and Dunya was more special. Dare I even say that he loved her, as a sister of course (he was a kid then after all), but I don’t know what it would be if Dunya survived. Maybe both of them would start to have deeper, not platonic feelings for each other?
This is just my speculation, quite absurd anyway. But always worth considering themselves “what if …”.
