i saw the coolest spider

Again haven’t been posting as much bc they like to just sleep beside me while I work and while I knit lool, but the Moose one is almost done…

i admit that when i saw this big stump i involuntarily thought to myself "maybe there'll be rhino beetles on it", but i didn't expect to actually find this Oryctes nasicornis casually pacing around

unfortunately despite being a large animal seemingly made of rigid plastic he was apparently flexible enough to immediately wedge himself in a crack and disappear inside the stump to get away from me. bye i guess

Like, back in the Old Days that would be a way that women would actually socialize.  So if a girl had a doll tea party, she was imitating her mom / other contemporary women.

But these days contemporary women don’t have tea parties. So now, the idea of “dolls having a tea party” is an echo of an extinct behavior, only repeated and referenced because it used to be so prevalent.
