With the new ahsoka s2 trailer out, i keep thinking about ezra’s character design this season. when we see him again in s1, he’s got a beard and shorter, curly hair. While more of a rugged look, he is well groomed. None of this is the result of not having access to grooming tools or being stuck in the “wild” of peridea, he was living pretty good with the noti. this is a look that he chose to have.

But as soon as he returns to the galaxy at large, he shaves the beard off and his hair takes a flatter, more combed out look. It’s parted (close to) the middle and is shorter in the front and longer in the back. It’s very similar (but a little curlier) to Ezra’s Rebels s1 and 2 look. He returned from peridea and chose to stylistically change himself to look more like he had when he was a teenager.

Ezra changed the way he looked after his return to closer match the version of himself that people had lost.

ezra bridger really is the character of all time. he ragebaits darth vader. he tells people he’s jabba the hutt and lando calrissian. he once said he was commander brom titus TO commander brom titus himself. he successfully recruits space whales, cats, and wolves to help the rebellion. he repeatedly gets captured and always finds a way to escape. he’s a teenage orphan who becomes a rebel lieutenant commander and a jedi padawan, all because he decided to steal a couple of crates from the empire
