Let’s Get Weird

“Being a sexual being, being sexually-skilled, a sex Goddess, a well-watered woman, doesn’t mean you are out here in these streets having sex with everyone. A sexual being ultimately is a spiritual being who embodies her decolonialized sensuality synchronized with her heart and spirit. She doesn’t hide her sensuality nor feel ashamed of her sexual energy, living effortlessly on the verge of enthusiasm, laughter, playfulness, tears, or orgasms. She has respect and honor for her body temple and takes time for some form of prayer, sacred bathing, and connection to nature. She then attracts unto her lover(s) to enter into divine union with and they raise each other’s vibration into the highest possible expression. A heart-centered person with high sexual energy also has great healing energy. Sexual energy ultimately is healing (recalibration) energy that changes us for the better and brighter.”

During the height of the Ferguson protests, you’d see posts about how the system is designed to oppress the Black community and being unaware of how it operates is akin to being asleep, so you must stay Woke. (Woke as a term in the Black community actually has a long standing history but we’ll focus on this period of time for now). You have to keep your eyes open to the truth, that’s what it was about.
